better performance allround despite a 2-1 defeat.great to see wee robin neill and ricky wilson back in the team again;and to be fair both were magnificent  think we will have to work on Brucies penaltys thou  but what went on in this game was at times an absolute disgrace to the integrity of the saturday morning league and all it stands for,i would hope that the referee's report will say as much............But i doubt he will even mention it.........no change there then eh!  |

Finlay........now i like the guy,hes a good lad......but this is the 2nd time that people have entered the field of play from the Homers against us and NO report.......luckily this time no 1 was assaulted......cant say that was the case the last time thou  |

one of Homers strongest strengths IMO is 'intimidating/influencing' the ref..
when they played us, John McDowell more or less refereed the game.
it was brian that day, he shat himself everytime they confronted him.

and Monty doesnt want to know elnino, youre well out of order here mate. what the hell can monte do? he and the league can only go by what is in the referees report. If its in the report, then the league will act on it, if not, then he cant come on here and take the word of "elnino" for it, or the word of another team for that matter. If you have a problem with the league on issues like this, then perhaps you should be videoing every game, and if anything untoward happens, then you can bring it to the leagues attention by those means, but dont come on here and have a go at monte or the league for something that is completely beyond their control. |

Haul on...... Now I'm with ye's on the fact that people from the sideline shouldn't be entering the field of play, too right. Especially if they intend fighting!!!! However, It's certainly not Monte's fault (did laugh though at BFP's defence of him after years of slating Monte for hating Saints. To be fair though it was a masterstroke getting wee Joe signed up with the water bottles to get Monte onside after years at each others throats, LOL, only joking fatty....) if the ref doesn't report it. Like BFP says, what can he do??? Another thing. Saying this is complaint from Sky Blues can I remind Elino (maybe you weren't a player then) of the time a few seasons ago when Weedo and Bergoine had the altercation in the middle of the pitch at Neilsbrook. Punches were thrown and a whole sideline, of which there are many at a Sky Blues match, were in the middle of it throwing their weight around looking to fight. This is the same thing is it not? |

Weedo and Bergoine had the altercation in the middle of the pitch at Neilsbrook. I don't believe this for a minute. Two very calm, composed, disciplined kinda guys. Never seen or heard tell of the pair of them getting upto such devilment b4. |
