Next week is a big game as it is the local derby and fans of both teams are bursting with excitement lol
In all seriousness tho we need to take 3 points from this game if we are to look for a playoff place but Steadfast are a good team and they always make it difficult for us.
Training this week and Il look into getting a wee favour returned ;D

I dont know mate to be honest with you, they called a game off recently because they couldnt put together a team or so I am led to believe but no matter how many players they get for saturday we'l have to make sure we stay focused on the task at hand

lookin at the table, a win for yous practically garuntees yourselves a playoff place
steadfast still have the same squad theyve had all season...minus the keeper (since bout oct)
weve only ever had bout 2 subs... always 1 or 2 injured.

Itl be a tough game as always as the 2 teams are very evenly matched.
I watched Steadfast pre-season and I was really impressed with what John is trying to do at the club. As you say if any team picks up a couple of injuries then they struggle tho some people laughed at me when I said I needed 20+ players to get us thru the season.

Yet another hard fought win, we just dont make life easy for ourselves. Great opening 20 mins where we were on top and playing some really good football we just couldnt get our shots away then up steps Pele10 with a thunder bolt from all of 25 yards hit first time and into the top corner 1-0, Steadfast battled away hard and shuda went in at half time 1-1 when they hit the bar from 10 yards out.
Second half was all huff and puff from both teams without any goalkeeper being tested. We got a free kick 20 yards out and Square slammed home with a beautiful curling shoot...truth he miss hit it and it hit a bobble just in front of the keeper and bounced over him to seal the win for us.
Good luck to Steadfast for the rest of the season

speaking of cube head, feck me he definitely got the wooden spoon last night at bowling.
there was a stage he threw the ball down the wrong lane.

Lol the slip wasnt intented and I felt a pure goblin...
Less of the big huge hole Weasel please hahaha, auld davis and Markg hard to beat last night tho special prize goes to Skreetccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhh Kingpin, he turned up in a Lisnafillan Swifts Bowling team shirt and got his hair cut especially for the night

haha that shirt has been packed away safely for such an occasion. As for the special prize theres so many ppl id like to thank, firstly my hairdresser for having the bravery to tackle 3 months worth of mullet so a medal for her, and how can i forget my girlfriend who had the brilliant taste to buy such a stylish shirt lol

i was right as rain on sunday mornin!! think i had half a chicken gujon supper still stuck in between my teeth, was weak nice but!! was a good nights craic, we'll def have t odo it more often. weasel (the social development officer) will have to organise gocarts or sumfin for next time!
