LOL... ;D ;D Think this would of been a great game to watch as some of our boys on the line said after, really competitive and full of good hard tackles and some great football. Another hat-trick for Marriot (two penalties right enough lol) and one at the end from Campbell to seal it. Two very silly goals given away by us for sure (although i'm 100% convinced Michelin number 9 was at least 3 yards off side as our whole back 4 was pushed out to the half way line and he was inside our half) but we didn't deal with the cross when it came in and Froggy was never gonna miss a free header from 6 yards out! We showed great determination and fight to lift ourselves after conceeding the equaliser on both occassions! We went in having to make 3 changes from the team that beat Riverdale last week and then losing Jamie early on didn't help. Have to say Warren McCosh and Ricky Hanna were superb yesterday down the left hand side and as well Sandsy was brilliant for a boy who plays through obvious pain every week! Ps a big thank you to Brian for not sending me off ;D |

To be fair you boys were far better than us 1st half and deserved the lead (although young Darren told me it shouldnt have been a penalty!) That was only our 2nd game since you beat us in league about 10 weeks ago, and think it showed in the 1st half that we were dead rusty with and wothout the ball, but thats not taking anything away from the Connor performance that half cause at times they were just better than us. In the 2nd half we came into alot more and made a proper game of it, and was very little between us. Once we got the 2nd equalizer I thought we had a good chance of going on to win it but wasnt to be. Good to see Ricky back playing, good lad and a good footballer too. |

He booked me in the first half for the foul on Froggy just! Was silly to get involved in the second half and was very lucky not to be sent off! |
