Really hope this match is on. Weather is not good today or tomorrow but should be dry on Friday and Saturday. We need to try and bring the desire to win that we showed against Shore last week into this match.

I remember watching blackstone at the start of the season against broadway and thinking they were a decent side they missed 3 one on ones that night and could of won the game.

match report please........ feck aff Rubberman, not goving anything at all away until we play you next week....... ;D We actually played pretty well yesterday and easily could have won 5 or 6. We had a dodgy 10 minutes at the start when Blackstone attcked us straight away but after those 10 minutes we were basically in control of the whole game. We were missing Sammy at left back, whos probably the best left back IMO in the 2nd division (though Party Phil Comac had a stormer of a game in his place) and also were without Froggy for this one as well. Their keeper pulled off a few good saves for them and we missed easily 4 or 5 scoreable chances too. An example of that was Gary Aiken hitting the bar with a shot about 20 yards out, it fell to Jonny M about 18yards out, he smashes it and hits the fecking bar again and out! At times yesterday we were playing as good football as we had done all season. Apparentely our first win in nearly 3 months too ;D Bit of a confidence booster going into the game away to the league favourites next week Good luck to Blackstone as well, think they struggled a wee bit on the big pitch which theyre not used too, but battled the whole game and a good bunch of lads as well. |
