I was down at this game it finished 5 -3 Dowie got a hattrick. Carniny were on top and the turning point was that wooden one mccosh throwing one in. The Ardonye number 9 destroyed them smashing wee player but i though Ardonyes two centre halfs were poor. I thought Carninys big players didt turn up tonight apart from Dowie and Mo McDowell who was at the heart of everything good Carniny did. fair result?? not like McCosh to throw one in! never had u down as a carniny fan pele, u must be gutted!  Thats what i was saying earlier to big sponge he has been throwing them in as years yet dobbie continues to play him and not try and sign a good keeper. Carniny went ahead early and looked very comfortable but then they sort of stopped they gave away a really bad pen too to make it 3-1. Aye Ardonye were the better side but they looked seriously dodgy at the back. |

Yes i have to say i was expecting alot better. Big Jason never got into the game at all and Carninys defence seemed to lie very deep all night. Just a bad night at the office possibly as i havet watched Carniny in ages. |

fair play to them for getting so far all the same and good luck to them next week in what will surely be a harder game.

If you mean best team won because they scored more goals then fair enough. If you take the chances Carniny created and compare to Ardoynes I thought Carniny were very unlucky not to score 10. Their goalkeeper made 2 brilliant saves at key times in the game. Carniny could have been 5 up at half time but ended up going in 2-1 down. They scored 2 quick goals inside first 10mins of second half and then it was always uphill. Thought wee leslie was excellent. Turning point of whole game was Ardoynes first goal where Alex fumbled as they had hardly been in Carninys half until then. Good enough side Ardoyne going forward but defensively thought they were very poor. All about taking your own chances and not giving the other team any and unfortunately Carniny didn't take theirs and gifted at least 3 goals which at this level you cannot do. Maybe a lesson learnt for next Thursday in Junior Cup. Here's hoping. |

For some reason i thought he threw the 2nd one in but i def agree it totally changed the game as Carniny were looking very comfortable and Ardonye were't creating anything but then he's been a liability for years and only now its really cost Carniny.
I thought les put his usual shift in i def wouldt say he was excellant be interesting to see how the team sets up next week as there was a few bad performances.

Dowie worked hard and could have had more than 3 and mo was brilliant for his 2 or 3 moments (superb run for the second and wonder pass for the third) but mo didn't see enough of the ball. When Carniny were good I thought leslie was at the centre of it. Alex could possibly have saved their second but Del missed his clearance which started it all. |

Haha, I think Ballykeel is a good spot for it as long as theres no hassle for any of the teams which wouldt apply in this game. Len is right i might go watch if it was in CC not a chance i'd be there. |
