Im glad its off, id rather play a strong carniny team in a final than a second string team due to a more important match 2 days later, though a weaker carniny side is still gona be hard to beat. The main reason though is hopefully itll be a friday night and we can go on the rip after ;D

I had heard that quite a few of the Abbeyview team were away for the weekend and weren't adverse to the match being called off. My post about the weekend was in jest raj. not sure were you heard your info but I was with them when they were told it was off and they were all gutted. I dont know the inns and outs of it but lets not try and dress it up as abbeyview wanted it off cuz thats clearly not the case. Having said that I can understand why it was called off and good luck to carniny in both semis. Maybe you could point to where in my post I stated that Abbeyview wanted it off. I'm not dressing it up as anything. Abbeyview will get their chance to play Carniny at a later date. I'm sure Carniny will be looking forward to it as well.

i would back what zippy says but i am suprised it was called considering the amount of games carniny have left. i make it 10 league games, still in 3 of our own cups and the 2 junior comps, which is at least 15 games. what date does the league have to be finished on?

Think it usually is before the end of May. Not tryin to be presumptious here but maybe if other teams in and around Carniny in the league have their games finished and Carniny can then play enough games to win the league, if it did get tight sure they could do without playing the remainder of the games (obviously as long as relegation and top 4 spots weren't reliant on them). However i am sure carniny will attempt to fulfill all fixtures in some shape of form. Dont think it is the first time where teams have had to play a couple of nights in a row to fulfill fixtures - dont quote me on that as I think I am going back a few years but I think it was way back when raceview where still in the league.
