Time for change ?

been watching the rubbermen for awhile now and think they are very close to being wher they should be ie the first div. maybe its time for a management reshuffle to take them that little bit further its only a thought .

Don't think there is any real need for change with them bein unbeaten in the league, and if they win their games in hand they'll be a few points clear (i think)!

Although i've seen nothing of Michelin this year i dunno why they'd need a change when they're goin so well! (And league favourites at that ) lol

Kingkenny, you have me slightly confused. If you watch Michelin, then you clearly have some interest in the team and their "ambitions" so to speak. I respect your opinion but why would you voice it in this manner, considering how you seem to favour Michelin?

id say they have been the nearly men over last 2 seasons, going out in play off semis. im sure mich would hold their own in the 1st, they are a good strong team. its only half way through the season they will be clear at the top with their games in hand, so they are the team to beat. but, and theres always a but!! im sure they will get beat in a few league games at some point. if they dont finish in the top 2 this year and dont go up maybe it is time for a change if they think they need to be in the 1st. at the minute tho its hard to see them not in top 2 come may

I agree that we are the 'nearly boys' of the 2nd division. Last year was a great oppurtunity for us to go up, too many draws cost us automatic promotion and think towards the end of the season we just ran out of steam with too many games and too few players. Losing froggy was a massive blow too. We are hopeful we can go up automatically this year, though there are 4 very good teams challanging for those top 2 spots as well, all of which we have to play away from home and we also have to play connor at home too . I very much doubt any team in any division will go through the season unbeaten, so if we do get beat its all about how we react to it. At times we may not be as good to watch the best as towers and connor may be, but we do work hard for each other and do try to play good football as much as we can as we have some very good footballers here. As you said kingkenny we were shooting in on saturday, bad finishing, deliveries and defending as a team cost us 2 points, but its very fixable! C'mon the mich!

i just asked the question in imo i think they are in better shape now and good to watch on their day with a good spirit i think its just frustrating to see them where they are as imo again they are a match for most teams in any div

Not at all kenny Saturday was really disappointing but we'll bounce back from it. Weve a good group here and were ALL pulling in the right direction to get the club promoted to 1st division. As homer so kindly put it weve won a couple 2nd division cups in 3 seasons so although its not promotion, it aint too bad
