word has it that big ginger loaf wanted to sign after packing it in at northend on sat, also another story doing the rounds is that it went to a vote and all saints didnt want him. I find this v v strange as the big man is 1 of the best strikers in the league and is exactly wot all saints need. Any truth in this?  ?  |

I don't think there'd be much truth in the vote part to be honest. They've had him there before as well as other local ejits so canny see there being a problem bringing him now, he's quality!!!
Sure he packs Northend in every week. Anthony will tell him to be at training again and he'll be there!! lol...

To my amazement I have heard (since that last post there) that both we and All Saints have decided not to have him. I've been told details of Saints meeting about it, call it a team discussion if you will, but I've heard people at both clubs don't want him which to be honest leaves me speechless!!! If it's true that we turned him down without a player discussion as the Saints apparently rightly had then I'm not best pleased!!! |

Smileys a super big player would be a great asset to any club hes mite be abit hot headed from wot i hear(he'd fit in well with us in that case)but theres not many strikers about with his ability
Wouldnt mind having him in my squad but dnt think he'd be interested in droppin to the 3rd div but wot ever club gets him will be gettin a super big player

aye he is sum player...just makes everythin look so simple would b a massive lose to northend if he leaves!! he does sum amount of shoutin but i think most people could listen to it in exchange for the goals he wud bring!!

Yeah i think i could listen to him alrite with the goals he'd score the big man playin in between wee rev and stevie would be hard to stop,i'l mayb have to get on to his agent to see if he'd be interested,  i'd mayb need 2 invest in a set of ears muffs,some of our boys can be hard to listen to aswell(me not included)  |

Youngster is player/manager of Dunloy Ath,big smiley would be some asset to dunloy i've watched them a few times this year and there're without a doubt a division 1 team they'd be fit to hold there own in it IMO think the'll be there in a couple of years
big smiley playing up with there 2 wee flying machines would be some strikeforce

He should be making a living playing football but for many obvious reasons that ship has sailed. There are many good players at Dunloy but to be honest there isn't many in the BSML with his ability, if any!!! Good signing, hope it goes well!!! |

Hey fish cant argue with u there,hes def up there with the best of them but dunloy have some top notch players at there club if he's head and shoulders above big murphy wee rev or youngie,he's some player and no doubt the big man will only make them even stronger

Lets hope it dosen't come to that,no doubt they'll be days when things dont go to plan and we mite have to odd word or 4 but thats football some1 losing the plot now and again dosen't bother me(we've got a few with short fuses ) but u normally always find that with ppl who want to win,give me 11 of them any week The big man will have no problems settling in with us and will enjoy the craic and no doubt will prove to be a super signing |
