This will be yet another tight game for Rangers against the inform team 'Abbeyview'. Hopefully Home Advantage can see us through this one to get us the 3 points.

Should be a good game providing it doesn't rain. From what I remember your pitch is soft and hard going for my tired old legs ;D

We've moved pitch Weeman. Its just the next field down from our last Pitch. The new Pitch, aka 'Little Ibrox' is much drier than the old pitch. We've only played twice on it so far, its a bit bumpy but by next season we should have it in alot better nick.
It should be a very good game as it normally is between the two sides. We'll need to be at the top of our game as you'se are on a great run at the minute.

Conyer the Pitch should be fine as we haven't played on it in at least a month now. By talks of things we're going to have a half decent support up on Saturday as quite a few people have been asking when our next Home game is. Will you be attending the Game yourself??

tough game on saturday for youse super conner against an Abbeyview team who are now showing what they are made of in this league. If it was'nt for their poor start to the season im sure they would be challenging for the title right now but on their day they can dish out some serious punishment to their opposition. Conner need to win if they want to challenge for a spot in the play offs.

As Doc says, if we had off started the season better then we should have been closer to the top but the lack of any decent pre-season was to blame. We can't take nothing for granted and with a new home ground it should make for an interesting game...after all you owe us as we beat you at home early in the season. ;D

Rangers are finding it very hard to get a team put together for tomorrow morning. Thats brilliant news as Abbeyview are on a great run at the minute.

Connor Rangers 4-1 Abbeyview
This was a game of two halfs. Rangers started off brightly and took the lead with only 5 minutes played when Mervyn Crawford beat the keeper to a poor back pass and rolled it across the box for Chrissy Clail to tap in. Abbeyview then started pushing and got there equaliser when the big Number 9 turned in the box to rifle in by the Rangers Keeper. Rangers had most the chances in this first half and with ten minutes till the half Mervyn Crawford picked the ball up wide left and went by the right back to slide it home to make it 2-1. Both sides then had a few more chances before the half but the score stayed the same.
Half Time 2-1
The second half was all Abbeyview, they put tremendous pressure on the Rangers back line but all credit too our lads they held it well. The View just didnt give up, they keep coming back at Rangers. This went on alot of the second half but half way through the Half Rangers got them on the Attack which finished off with Ally Logan turning well in the box and smashing the ball into the bottom corner. The View once again were caught on the attack with 5 minutes remaining when Mervyn Crawford ran from the Half Line and got into the box to lay the ball off for Ally Logan who netted his second and Rangers fourth of the game.
Well done lads, 3 super points against an Abbeyview side who came into this game unbeaten in 8 games. Also grear performance by the Rangers Back 4 who held on very well.

Well played today lads fully deserved the win!! unfortunetely the pitch ruined any chance of a game today but credit were due u boys dug deep and ground out the win!! ur old pitch was bad but that is the worst in the league even worse than clough, marginally. u boys should be gettin on to your local councillors bout gettin a bit of help to sort that out!!!
all the best for the rest of the season. what number were you conner?

Yeah mate the pitch is bad but the council have no interest in helping us out.
Aye was the Number 10 upfront, was mainly back in my own half most the time in the second half as you'se pilled on the pressure.
All the best the rest of the season to you'se aswell.

well done super connor. was up on saturday for a short while before work, that was a good win. yeah the pitch is bad but id say there wont be any work on it untill the end of the season a good heavy rolling and new grass on the road side corner will help .. lets have more of the same on saturday you might find it difficult against clough as there pitch is just as bad as little ibrox. that why abbeyview found it hard cause they arent used to bad piches .. thruth...

We are Home to Clough Conyer. We beat them 2-1 at there pitch on the opening game of the season. Our pitch is terrible. It needs re-layed or something.

yes i thought you were at home. just going back to the pitch situation its not that bad , its really dry and quite level its not running into a slope like some of the pitches we could mention, so its a bit bumpy and rough wot do you expect a few weeks ago it was used for grazing.. when it gets rolled and re seeded in parts you will find it wont be to bad..

Aye Conyer if they work at the pitch throughout the summer it should be fine for the start of next season.
