This will be a very tough game for Connor but to keep their chances of making the Play-offs alive they will have to be walking away with the 3 points here!

Connor Rangers 2-1 Clough Rangers
Another 3 points closer to the Play Off Spot! First half started with long balls by both teams which was easy enough for the defences. The pitch was terrible, th ball bobling everywhere. It was Clough who took the lead from the Penalty Spot as Alan Fyfe hand balled in th box. Rangers then tried to up the anty but was hard through the pitch but with 5 minutes from the Half Sammy McVicker equalised with a fantastic run from his own half and slotted it into the bottom corner.
Half Time 1-1
Second Half saw Connor start the better and were awarded a free kick early on and it was fired into th top corner by the scorer of the first goal Sammy McVicker. Clough then started putting the pressure on for about 10 minutes. After this it was end to end stuff but no real clear cut chances.
Good luck to Clough Rangers for the rest of the Season!

Robbed again I thought. One nil up for the third game in a row and we have only taken one point. Thought we had enough chances to win the game. Also, two clear cut penalties turned down. Geoff even admitted it was a penalty when he brought Davy down. Just nothing going our way at the mo.
For the record safely the worst pitch the world has ever seen. Its a complete health hazard. If i was a farmer I wouldn't graze cattle on it. Scared they would break their ankle in one of the holes.
Anyway good luck for the rest of the season Merv and Connor.

Cheers Harty!
Yes the pitch is awful mate but there's nothing we can do. The council never comes out to look near it although it probaly wouldn't make a big difference. We were actually thinking about playin our last two Home games somewhere else!
