This will be a tough game for Rangers although they're unbeaten in three games now but as everyone has noticed anyone can beat anyone in this league.
Come on the Rangers!!

Yous need a win to secure that play off place. Personally I hope its a draw although with home advantage i can see you winning it with a late goal. ;D With the correct results we could sneak a play off place......mind you there's no way i'm holding my breath on that. ;D

Super Connor, goal difference doesn't come into it if teams finish on the same points. It goes by the results against the other team. If we lose our last game against Clough Abbeyview would finish above us as they beat us 2-1 and the other match was a draw. I reckon we need a draw or a win to book our place in the play offs.

Connor Rangers 3-4 Randalstown Athletic
This game was played on the main pitch in Kells which turned out to be a very open game. Both teams having plenty of chances. It started off with Rangers missing a few great chances then straight after Athletic had a few aswell but it was Rangers who went 1-0 up when Ally Logan tucked home a penalty after Sammy McVicker was brought down in the box. Athletic then pushed for the equaliser and were soon back to level terms when the big striker slotted home a 1 on 1 with the Rangers keeper. Both sides then had a few more chances to go into th lead but it was Rangers who went into the break 2-1 as Sammy McVicker rounded the keeper and slotted home.
Second Half saw Athletic up it a gear and were soon awarded a penalty which their big striker calmly slotted home. The game was then wide open with both teams yet again pushing to get the vital goal and with 20 minutes left Mervyn Crawford turned at the edge of the box and fired into the bottom corner to put Rangers in the driving seat yet again. In the last 15 minutes both teams had several great chances but it was Athletic who made them count by hitting the net twice to collect the 3 points.
A very hard fought game by both sides which aye thought a draw would of been a fair result but thats the way things go! Well done Athletic and all the best.
