Thought it was a great game today. 5 clean sheets out of 10 games, the best defensive record in the league. Great goal by scotty drummond, some assist from danny! Gary mcilroy played out of his skin as usual. Fair play to our makeshift goalie nigel small, was a really really good performance and the back 4 were class as usual! Thought the victory was well deserved even when we made hard work of it in the second half

Apparently this was the first time Westend have beaten Lisnafillan in 4 years, can someone confirm this?

I can only go by my time at the club and its the first time Westend have beat us in my time. Last year we beat you 7-1 I think at Wakehurst and drew at Galgorm...
Good goal by Scot and in all honesty Rab that was your only real chance I dont remember Greg having to do too much, but its a game of taking chances and you'se took your goal really well and we didnt put your goalie under enough pressure.

Yeah, our back 4 and midfield stopped you guys putting nigel under pressure, it was a great performance I thought. Big phil and trev are flying machines stan! thought I had them a few times! WRONG

Phil in my eyes is the best in the league he rarely puts a foot wrong and Trev is Mr Duracel who just never stops.
You did well today mate and I wish you all the best and Westend for the season ahead and I poked my head in your changing rooms and wished the lads all the best too.

Yeah good game to win. Always good to grind out a result when you don't play well.
Didn't think either keeper really had much to do and it was a pretty scrappy game.
Wish the swifts well for the rest of the season (except Weasal) lol

just for the record you beat us 7-2 last year. We were 2-0 up and then we got our centre half and manager sent of and we fell to pieces lol
least we're seeing games out this season as the performance against althetico antrim proved on sat past!
