Shore Goals
Sean Hale (2)
Man of the match -
Aidy Clark - didnt stop running all day, he's getting well used to this Right Midfield lark
On a side note - if i was Michelin i would have been well f**ked off at that penalty decision at the end - it was a stonewaller - i couldnt believe the ref didnt give it - but the again what goes around comes around....
2nd season in a row we have been 2 up at Michelin and got pegged back in the last 10........raging!!!

Definitely a stone wall penalty. I think the ref bottled the decision with it happening so late in the match. Still, I thought we did well to fight back from 2 down.
Thought we had some chances which should have been taken. Well done to Shore though, you boys battled hard. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Mixed feelings about the game to be honest. If youd have offered us a 2-2 draw after about 65 mins when we were 2-0 down we would have snapped our hand off, but at the end of the game pretty disappointed we didnt get all 3 points. IMO for the 1st half hour it was the best we've played all season, played some great stuff and created 3 or 4 really good chances, should have been 2 or 3 up at least if we'd taken the chances, then Shore started to come into it alot more and right onhalf time Willy Brown created a goal out of nothing for your striker to put you 1 up. 2nd half was even enough when a shore player scored a belter in the top corner from about 30 yards to put you 2 nil up, peach of a goal! From then we started to play some decent stuff again, created a couple chances, though Shore maybe should have had a pen when I collided with their striker in the box, but as the ref said it was a 50/50 ball We brought on super sub Davy Brown (1st game since Rubbermans brutal assault on his arm and inside 5 mins he scored after a great through ball from Mat McNally. We were on the front foot from then and scored with about 10 mins left and equalised through Mat McNally. Froggy hit the bar too then in the last couple minutes our left back burst through, one on one with the keeper until the covering defender brought him down in the box.......................... no penalty! Unbelievable! From talking to a couple shore guys after think they were more than happy to come away with a draw despite being 2-0 at a stage. Good to keep our unbeaten run going anyway, especially with having none of our 3 regular centre halfs available and missing wee Orrsy too for the game. Shore will certaintly be up near the top at the end of the season if they play anywhere near as well as they did against us, good footballing team. PS, Willy Brown must have been an unbelievable player when he was younger, he was top class on saturday. Everything good comes though him, his touch is top class. All the best for the rest of the season.

Think this result was probably fair in the end but if you were to speak to most of us at the end of the game thier was no way we were happy after being 2-0 up.
We played some decent stuff in stages but as the game went on Michelin did what every decent team who are trailing should do and came at us and capitalised on 2 mistakes from our midfield.
Both teams had chances and thierfor it probably was fair.
I also reckon thier wont be many teams that will go there and take points off a good Michelin side. Looking forward to playing them again good luck to them for the rest of the season

Great match to watch and good football at times from both sides. Not too happy about conceeding 2 late goals but Michelin battled well near the end and could have stole all 3 points. There's no doubt you lads should have had a penalty near the end but at the same time we had a certain penalty when we were 2-1 up and 15 mins to go which would have sealed the game. The ref. said it was a 50/50 ball which our striker got to first and knocked to the side and then your keeper took him out??? Even the big keeper told us after it was a penalty (our striker had to go to hospital). Good luck to Michelin for rest of season and no doubt they will be thereabouts with the display they put on.

mitty . not a bad report but you just omitted all the chances we also had . at nil nil we also hit the crossbar and if the ref had give the def peno , i think at 3-1 the game would have been finished . however i can confirm that it was a def peno for the mich as i totally took your player out . great tackle i mean . good game and played in the right spirit .
