There are two former player of the years listed but being a legend is more than simply being a great player. Jaap is a modern day legend. The club wouldn't be the same without him, but my vote goes to a goalscoring hero from the past, Johnny (Hotshot) Conker, the legendary Chelsea and Coronation Street fan. He was known by many names,Johnny, Osgood, Roy Race, Hotshot, but most just called him Conker. He wasn't exactly prolific but he had a huge presence on the pitch and not many could get round him. Conker for me is simply Glencloy's greatest legend.

He still goes out to watch the home games and was in supporting the night at the races, but no sign of him collecting the money from boys after each game!!! You would be doing well to get past Jaap without paying on a Saturday morning ;D |
