Any truth in the rumours doing the rounds that there is a team meeting planned at Northend to discuss players unrest at Smiley's attitude on the pitch?? Some of the boys talking about certain players getting very fed up with his shouting. It's not that bad is it???

I don't know the in's and out's Rubberboat, but at the end of the day there isn't many clubs in the BSML that can afford to turn players away, especially players with the quality of Smiley.
I heard all the rumours about him coming or at least wanting to but I have spoken to him and am pretty sure he's staying with Northend so it's all if's and but's.
For me, any player with ability wanting to play for your club should be accepted and cross the "disruption" bridge when you come to it. Take Smiley for example, even if some of the players are frustrated with his attitude towards team mates, I'm sure the bulk of the squad would rather be with him than without him.
