Good performance tonight. Thought David Gregg played very well saying its his first game this season. Think thats his best position aswell. where did he play? i got my first game of season too heard a rumor gregg lost a lot of weight in turkey ;D

played centre half.
Turkey either done him the world of good or there centre forward was just slow because gregg looked sharp for a boy who has only done 1 pre season session..lol

lol aye david gregg was brilliant. looked so comfortable on the ball, and he didnt look like a man who was in turkey for a week recently.
he came into the changing rooms with a big smile and just went " IM BACK" lol

Gregg was excellent in beside me tonight, he really did look so calm on the ball and i must say he took me by surprise and his fitness was excellent for a fella who only trained once or twice in pre season and was in hospital with shockin burns on holiday ;D
Super result and performance tonight from everyone, we had probably 3 or 4 boys out who would have started, which shows we have a good strong squad with players who can step in when needed!
Ps apparently hook is "an asshole, a disgrace and hates foreigners" according to the player who he sent off lfor them lol

After puuting 7 by this lot earlier in the season somehow i cant see the same scoreline this time around as they've picked up some decent results recently.
This game is being played at the Showgrounds on Saturday morn.. Big improvement needed from tonight and 3 points into the bag.. Lets have it lads

Big big game this tomorrow, a win would take a bit of pressure of us in that if we do it goes down to the final game of the season no matter the result against Clough, but we know it'll be a different game to the one out in Connor! Lets turn up tomorrow morning lads and play the way we can and get the 3 points

Inter Stars 0-3 Connor
We were terrible first half and had Deano to thank for 4-5 great saves to keep it 0-0, then big Norty, playing as a make-shift striker, popped up with a goal just before half time and that was the turning point.
Second half goals from Sandsy and Ricky Hanna, which could have been more, Campbell smacked the bar but happy enough with another 3 points.
Massive game on Wednesday night against Clough, they are in some form (7-0 against Shore today!!!!), but me and Mario should be back to strengthen the squad abit.

Showgrounds 3 is an awful pitch but same for both sides so no complaining. FC Inter Stars knocked the ball about well 1st half and had us chasing the game but second half we came into it and took our chances. Mario back wednesday night and hopefully you'll be fit Ally. Main things is we got the 3 points today Mon tha wee Connor..

If i don't get another run up front on Wednesday night after that showing today i'll be handing in a transfer request ;D ;D Seriously that is a hard oul shift up there, there's some work in it, i'm quite happy if i never had to do it again lol Good win for us, deano kept us in the game in the first half but we totally controlled the second half and deserved the 3 points! That takes it to the last game of the season, so hopefully we can go out and enjoy the game against Clough with a bit of pressure off, but we'll be looking for the 3 points without a doubt to go into the final game top of the league

I only seen about 10 minutes of the game but in that 10 minutes Dean Young pulled off at least 3 good saves and it was still 0-0 at that stage.
Big game against Clough for you through the week
