Cheers Rubberman, were def happy with the start we've had. All 4 games have been tough games, and right enough weve had a wee bit of luck this season which to be fair we didnt have last season. Last years think we drew something like 9 games out of 24 in league, and probably should have won 6 out of the 9 draws but just couldnt finish teams off, whereas so far this year were getting the 3 points. Were actually getting most our squad back together at last as well which is a big thing, few new signings too.
Another thing is getting 12 points from 4 games and were still not playing as well as we can do, plenty more to come from us hopefully but were working hard to get the results.
Still a long long way to go though, some very good teams still to play, starting with Clough 2moro night, who I think will do well this year as well. Its gonna be a tight tight league, but were happy enough to quiwetly continue on and hopefully winning.

Thanks rubberman. It's been a tough start but we need to keep working hard. Especially with you boys and other teams having good starts. As is often the case against Clough, we can expect tomorrow to be a battle. Not too sure about myself and my bruised balloon ankle being fit but I'll see how it feels. I'm not worried for the team, we should be ok, I'm more concerned about my spot. I think all the new signings are either Right Mid-fielders or Strikers.   |

Beat Braid 2 - nil. I think it would have been a good game to watch. Both teams had chances and played decent football.

Injuries are the bain of my life, I swear. I only know their first names. I'm led to believe they are work colleagues of a couple of boys in the team. Only one of them has played so far, Matt, against A'hill Thistle and last night against Braid and seems a good player. Fast and works his balls off. I don't imagine the others are worth mentioning until a decision has been made on said ankle |

I wouldn't say favourites pele. Plenty of games left and plenty of good teams in the division. I would certainly say we hope to do well in the league this year.  |

i would def install mich as the favourites this year. they have been up there the past yr or 2 and this season they will be looking to go the whole way! good mix of youth and experience, quality all thru the team so i feel auto promotion will be the minimum aim out the mich this season
great start from use and use are the team to beat

One thing that everybody is right about is the club itself should be in the 1st division. The facilities are 2nd to none and the club really look after the team, best set up of nay BSML club by a mile so if anything the team has let the club done in the past few years, but fingers crossed we hope the put that right this year. The pitch was in great condition last Monday for the Braid game, so it should be fine for the matches this week. Weather permitting, as is always the case of course. Should be a good match on Wednesday. How are you boys looking for it? We've a couple of boys injured but with some new signings and a few players returning from different things, we should be fine. I'm looking forward to watching it. |
