I'm led to believe I will be making a return to Connor this saturday morning ;D Should be a good game. Although we'll be missing captain quencher Kerr and you's will be missing pretty boy Kyle as they are away sunning themselves in Magaluf together! Ps. can we play on the pitch up the road for old times sake?!?  |

Just heard the game is on tomorrow, thought it might be in doubt after the rain on wednesday nite and the state it was in at the end of it! Looking forward to welcoming Stewartie and a couple of other ex-Connor boys back tomorrow and getting a good kick at them |

Finished 4-3 to Connor. Sammy x2 , White and Norty with the goals. Was good game, pure roastin though. Ref had a stinker. No game till Wednesday night which will be a big one against Michelin, hopefully get some of our injured players back.
Is Jordy's nose broke?

as poor as connor were, this game could have been 5 or 6 to connor.
until dean our goalkeeper made that mistake at 2-1..clough looked dead. that goal gave them a bit more of a lift.
but think clough will be in play offs this season..few decent players.

Not a bad game of football, couple of freak injuries, hope Trainor's is not too serious. Wee Jordie says his nose is fractured. Have to say well done to the Connor boys but we gave it a right go and battled right to the end and overall not a bad result considering we were missing so many from the starting 11. But I suppose thats football sometimes, especially at this level. Another penalty for you boys...how much you's slipping the referees before the games?  O and nice to see Norty getting nutmegged before Foster slamming in his goal, you were right about that Tommy, just the wrong person to do it! Onwards and upwards...Braid on Monday/Wednesday |

Must agree with Darren, Clough didn't look like scoring after Connor went 2-1 up until Deano's mistake just before half time.
Clough will take points off alot of teams in this Division and def will be up in around the play offs come the end of the season.
Didn't know Stewartie was playing until he walked into the Bar after the game...;D

I know they were missing quite a few on Saturday as well so the way they battled was a real credit to them! They came at us in the first half and i think maybe ran out of steam in the second half a bit. It turned out it we had to rely on the big man to score what would turn out to be the winner, and i believe Kerr and I are now leading Harty in the goalscoring stakes by 1 ;D I'm staking my claim to a regular spot up front after opening the account for the season ;D |

Can't say the same about a certain one-hundred-goal-a-season player I've never heard of. in fairness its his first season in the morning league therefore he has played bout 6 morning matches max and he's only 19 takes most a few years before teams start to know them and reconise the names etc. but if you ever do see him, tell him he still owes me the money from that bet last season when he never got to play ;D |
