Tough start with no points from first 2 games. No much in it but need to start picking up points. Things could have been different with chances against Broadway and me missing the penalty tonight but that is all ifs and buts.
Get a bit of a rest and a big one on Monday night against Inter Stars

We (Broadway) had a few scares at the back against you for which we should have been punished, taking our own chances well when they came. To be fair to Blackstone you look a decent wee team just trying to find your feet in the second. It will come, good luck!!!  |

We play at wakehurst... struggling for players tho with injuries etc so i'd say the second half of the season will be when div 2 sees the real blackstone.

You were probably unlucky not to get at least a draw on saturday lads, you played some pretty good stuff and were hard to break down, though in saying that we were totally shocking for about an hour of the game, it was really only when we went down to 10 men we caught ourselves on and started to play a bit. Dont like to single players out but in the 2nd half Froggy really showed his worth to us, scored a super goal ,was involved in the other two, plus he was our best defender from set pieces.
Im sure Blackstone will take plenty of points off alot of teams for the rest of season. All the best.

Agreed. At least we're showing a bit of fight even though the performances could be much better. Froggy was definitely a key man for us on Sat. Mitty, did you think their second goal was going wide or did it just catch you out? ;D Only joking big man.  I think it's worth mentioning that the Wakehurst pitch closest to the road was in very good condition. Were the pitches sand-slit during the summer? |

Funny enough didnt expect a fella who is standing 18 yards out, right in the middle of the 2 defenders, to overhead kick it in the bottom corner ;D Think thats 4 times already this season weve been a goal down to come back to get something from the game. Great fighting spirit to do it but Id much rather we didnt have to do it all the time |
