Good start to the season with a 3-2 over Seven Towers in Kells. Didn't play the best but three points are all that matters

I would say Connor at the moment are my favourites to win the league this season, very good squad and a good result last night against a good 7 towers team who wil also be right up there this year challenging for promotion.

There were a couple of big wins last night in the league for Clough and Shore over 2 teams who were in the play-offs last season, which just goes to show how tight the league will be this season (as it always seems to be!)
If we're to have any chance of promotion this year we'll have to play a lot better than we did last night, although everyone knows to take 3 points when you haven't played well isn't a bad thing.
We've definitely got the players and the squad to have a good season (big Ally didn't get on last night and, in my opinion, he'd be starting week in week out for most teams in the 2nd division!)
Lets hope we can go to Riverdale on Wednesday night and get another win!

Definatly agree its going to ve a very tough league this year with every team capable of beating each other.
And also agree with mitty yous have a hell of squad and to get a win against a team that will br pushing for promtion shows that.

Think we play too much football at times but as you say Norty 3 points is the main thing. Prob my only 2 goals i'll score this season..lol

Another one the night, took it well too. Probably should have won but Riverdale fought hard and got a dodgy enough penalty. Prob playing too much football sometimes, that's why you need a big target man upfront haha

Connor 2-1 Waveney. Made it hard for ourselves at times but stuck together and got the 3 points. Another goal for that Number 9....

Super performance from urself again mervyn, deserved your goal. Making it very hard for ourselves at the minute, but if the 3 points keep coming we wont complain. Some brilliant saves from dean saved us as well

Another 3 points after another hard battle (thanks in no small part to Campbell ) lol. When the game was at 1-1 and we went down to 10 with prob over half an hour to go i thought we ran our socks off for each other and in the end deserved the win, although Waveney had their chances too! That Kenny Wright is a pain in the arse, he's too quick ;D
