Its all ended in tears i'm afraid! I'm leaving Lisnafillan swifts after six years part time service. I'd like to thank the guys for some great memories and wish you all the very best for the future. I will see you all soon ouch Adriany takes no prisoners does he   Ur lucky though, I heard the next one to criticise his training methods gets a 15 minute kicking from the rest of the team. |

Just like to say that Rab has been a great wee servant to the club and his scoring record when he was playing regularly for the club was as good as anyones. Unfortunately though you had to go to Uni over the water which can't be helped and therefore were only available for a few games at the start and end of each season so basically over the past 4/5 years your chances to get that regular football which is so essential, especially to a striker IMO have been extremely limited.
I'm disappointed for you cause I know now that you've finished Uni you were going to have the chance to get a full season in for the first time in years back at the club you love/loved, but hopefully at Westend you'll get a game and score a fair few goals. I'm sure everyone at the club wishes you the best!
Anyway, good luck tonight lads! I'm not sure if the game is still on but I'm dying with the cold so couldn't have made it anyway but I'll hopefully see you's out at training as soon as I'm over it.

Id like to wish Rab all the best where ever he ends up. He's a super lad and somebody I like very much. With 6 strikers at the club it was never going to be easy keeping everyone happy. I told Rab my plans and we both know what we said to each other and a public forum aint the place for it. I wanted Rab to stay on at the club but he decided he needed/wanted regular first team football and I couldnt guarantee him or any other player that they will play week in week out.
As for ruling with an Iron fist why shouldnt I. I give the club 110% and I expect my players to do so aswell. If you cant train every week why should I play you when I have others standing up the line who train... I can guarantee you theres not a player on here who would be happy if it happened to them. This season I have 15 players who have came to most nights training and we have been back 5 weeks now so they will get the first text when it comes to games and they all know that.
I could say so so much more here but again I wont as this isnt the place to slag anyone off altho some think it is. SOme maybe need to have a look at theirselves instead of pointing fingers.
This seems to have escalated into slagging me off but hey I can cope with it, when your born as ugly as me you get used to it lol.
Right Im off now to kick some farmers off their land and give it to the poor who dont know how to run farms...Viva la revolution

It wasnt anything to do with stan ruling with an iron fist, so give the man a break. I just wasnt getting as much football as I had hoped and took the decision now, in preseason, to go to West End, where I hope I can have a fresh start and maybe get a few games. Stan had 6 strikers, including me, he has a nice problem! I dont know if ill get a regular start at West End, We played tonight and they have great players there too, it will be tough but ill give it a go, it just turns out ill have a better chance getting on the west end bench than lisnafillans! One think I will add! I AM STILL FVCKING UNFIT! played about 60mins and was blowing bubbles! |

Adriany....or Stan, I know your are not my greatest fan, but without blowing smoke up your ass, I love the fact that you come on here, tell the truth and show passion towards your club and your present and past players.
For me thats what this website is about......giving details about your club, your matches, your players and your club. I tip my hat to you for keeping this website aware of what hapenes around Lisnafillian.
I will certainly look out for your results this season.

Brem my man water under the bridge mate all in the past, now that Ive had a full season under my belt I inderstand what a tough job it is looking after the running of a football club. I also tip my hat to you mate so no hard feelings from this side.
