Lol would def get the league finished a bit quicker! Was told it was riverdale, then it changed to Templepatrick and now it seems to be riverdale again! f**k it get the cage ready! :-)

First of all, best of luck to Templepatrick in the play-off final. Lost 2 - 1 to a hard working Templepatrick team. They were probably the better team on the night.
Now, I can take being beaten by the better team and can't complain when that is the case, but when the result is tarnished by the incompetence of a Referee, it's a different story. I have to say, I think most of the Michelin boys will feel cheated. I'm pretty sure I often defend refs on this forum because I appreciate they have a hard job at times. However, tonight is definitely an exception. Mitty you can probably confirm the ref's name as I can't remember. Disgraceful decisions including a disallowed goal in the last minutes of the match were not only wrong but I think he even got a kick out of it. An absolute joke of a Referee!

Surprise Surprise I have to agree with ye there Henzo  To be fair to templepatrick they worked their b@lls off and IMO wanted the victory more than us. I think we let ourselves down more than anything, still had enough chances to win the game. In saying that though I think the games have really caught up with us and alot of boys were dead on their feet. Didnt really have a deep enough squad either, for example our 2 subs tonight were a centre half and a defensive midfielder. Now the slabbering part 2 massive decisions he got wrong tonight. The corner he gave for them to equalize. Pretty clear that their man headed the ball wide and the real give away was their whole forward line walked back towards the half way line for a goal kick! Shocking. Regarding the disallowed goal, obviously I was in no position to see if he was offside or not, but talking to yer keeper Arron after the game and he had no idea why is was disallowed, not one TFC player appealed it, With only a minute left it was hard to take. The boys were saying after the game as well apparenlty the one cleared off the line was a couple yards in, but again I was in no position to say if it was or not. Ref had a mare! Anyways good luck to TFC in final. Ill just add Stuarty Wilson was top class for you tonight, super player |

seriously tho use mich boys must be very disappointed that was a great chance for use i thot the way the playoffs draw and that ended up! fair play to temple tho seems they worked hard for it. would have picked riverdale from other semi as well so 2 shocks! who would have called a braid temple playoff final at start of it all.

dont know about the off side but i cleared it of the line and it def was not over the line. ref wasnt very good thou.
also thought use boys mite of put the ball out when our man was jurt. but anyway.

no no game was very fair were teams were concerned just saying i thought they were gona put the ball out.
and i havent seen any evidence of us being a hatchet team this year maybe thats y were in the final this year and the highest league finish in tfc history. compared to other years
michelin are a very well organised and fair team and i wish thyem all the best for next season

In no way am I accusing the ref for our defeat against TFC, but he was bad. Thats the 3rd time we've had him this year and all 3 have been woeful. |
