Have had 2 weeks of work with dr's advice fusco, was swollen as arnie's gambling head but is now coming round. Think i'll be at training next week for a good jog at least. So really hope I don't miss big games like the dirty jocks!! |

I no, fancy taking 2 weeks off work for an ankle injury when he's just a pen pusher!! If it's that bad squigs may just have to sit out the rest of the season, especially if the ankle is to support that belly of his!! |

who needs ratman when you've got Tom Tucker on the sidelines! Anyone remember what happened to them poor Kilbride heurs when they won a throw-in in front of our subs...poor fellas...  one guy spent 2 days in casualty getting his jaw wired shut and ive heard another still suffers flashbacks!  |

Thought it was a good tight game on Saturday and it was played in a good spirit for the majority. Have to say that from knowing a lot of you boys from school I think Nigel Small lets your team down. That's not a comment on his ability but at the start of the second half he was advising Paul Ritchie to go over the top when challenging for the ball. To his credit Paul didn't but Nigel left his studs in late and high on Dean Mooney. He was nowhere near the ball and was only interested in breaking Dean.
Anyway unlucky lads, thought Evan was your best player on Saturday

Lets face it PD, everyone makes the odd bad tackle. And i did not tell Paul Ritchie to "go over the top when challenging for the ball"- what i did say was that he needed to "go through the ball when making a tackle". I have never and would never encourage anyone to go over the top. At the end of the day its only a game and don't want to see anyone get injured. Anyway well done to the blackstone, you won on sat without playing to your best, sign of a decent team. Wish you all the best for the remainder of the season. |

Wasn't the best game we have played but not the worst. We didn't play well at all going forward which in part is a credit to the Blackstone defence but we just lacked a bit of creativity going forward so can only blame ourselves for that. Defensively we were solid and bar the poor goal we conceded they really threatened until late on when we were pushing forward and leaving gaps. I gave the lads a bit of a rollocking for the crap at the end, don't like to see scuffles (even though it was handbags) and i'm glad most players from both teams stayed clear of it.
