Been a Chelsea fan since 97-98 season, dad tried to turn me into a Liverpool fan, but it put me to sleep watching them, heh heh, (queue abusive posts from Liverpool fans)... To be fair the result last night was the right one, Barca simply offered more as an attacking threat, altough I felt Chelsea done well to contain them for so long at the Nou camp. Would be interesting to see how Chelsea would fare against them with 11 vs 11.. Ah well, guess il just have to make do with the Premiership title and hopefully the FA cup. Training will be interesting tonight! Wonder how many Liverpool fans will turn up! Heh Heh ;D

Oh thats right, Barca played with 12, as Ronaldinho counts as 2 ;D ;D Chelsea never got started last night! Drogba should never have started. Nor Duff, they were both pure s**te! Funny how things changed in the last 35mins when they were both taken off! This has to go down as a mistake by Mourinho. Gudjohnson should have been on from the start! Barcelona were twice the team. Lampard may as well of stayed in the changing rooms. Chelsea gave them far too much respect, sat off them, and let them dictate the play - which they did, happily. Poor poor show from Chelsea!!

You know waht mate, you are absoloutely right, couldn't agree more, Mourinho obviously has not got a clue and you should be the manager, then we probably would have went through with your expert knowledge. I mean, who in their right mind would think that Joe Cole, Lampard and Makelele would be good enough. Chelsea did not show Barca too much respect, thats alot of balls, Chelsea just couldn't afford to lose the first goal, and yes, Ronaldinho did score a wonder goal, but other than that he (in my opinion) didnt influence the game himself.. Chelsea contained him, and made Deco look very poor. Chelsea just lacked a cutting edge in the final third, thats the difference. Barca never ran out of ideas going forward, Chelsea did.

Spurs man lad. Through and through.
We'll have ye's at the weekend ;D
Morinho has worked wonders with a very strong Chelsea side. His ego seems to have people expect more of him than they normally would.
Even in defeat last night he wouldn't conceed that they were best by the better team.
Kinda admire that in him though, at the same time.

Not making excuses but had Gallas been fit in the first leg it would have been a different game. What Mourinho says is right 11 against 11 they have never beat us. As for Drogba, I never was and never will be his biggest fan. He just doesn't have th bit of class that is needed at the top level in my opinion. No one can argue with Mourinho but if it were me i would look to get rid of Duff and Drogba and bring in Schevchenko and Joaquin/Simao. I'd also reinstall Bridge at left back when totally match fit.

His arrogance, even though I support the club does kinda piss me off at times, although I do think there is method behind all his madness.. Spurs at weekend, very very tough game, we have a great record against you guys, although I think this is the best spurs team for a long time. Just hope we don't have a hangover from the Barca game!! ;D Currie, if you read this mate, we are going to have you!!

Couldn't agree more Cloughdiehard, why Wayne Bridge was frozen out of team I don't know, Asier Del Horno just simply has not fit the bill and I reckon will be shipped out. Gallas isnt a left back, yet with all at the club he is still the best in that position. I hope next year the team will be more like this...
GK Cech
LB Gallas CB Terry CB Cannavarro RB Ferreira
CM Makelele LM Essien RM Lampard
LF Robben CF Shevchenko RF Joaquin

Shevchenko will never leave for Chelsea, not with Drogba there to keep him outta the team

That match was a big let down considering the hype around it! Dinho showed that the matter what the stage he still will play the way he likes which was good to see, none of this cagey crap. Personally i don't think its the lack of abililty in certain areas or team selection that was Chelsea's downfall but their attitude to the game. Ok they couldn't afford to concede but in recent Prem matches i have seen they never seem to stamp their authority on games. They just let games develop and concentrate on defending well and keeping possession knowing that teams will make a mistake at some point. Don't think anyone could begrudge WBA at least a point in that last game! Anyway more importantly than Chelsea it was good to see liverpool ko'd last night, what a pile of sh*t. Heard a stat before the game and between the 4 strikers they have there's only been 1 goal scored between them in their last 40 odd appearances! How can Crouch be in England squad ahead of Beattie when Beats is a goal machine!! ;D

here fusco i am in the market for a new job and now desailly has left i would be perfect. i'd just have to ship out gallas, makelele,SWP and drogba. i think chelsea should have played at a high tempo they way man utd did in 1999 and the way liverpool did against juventus and milan last season. european teams like time on the ball and if they dont get it they dont like it a hard tackles early on doesn't hurt either
