poor result last night, better team, even when down to ten men after half an hour, and missed to open nets. ref done us no favours either, BFP got sent off for pushing someone after that someone kicked him in the face, and there is no way the ref could have missed the kick in the face. must be riding the moylena player cos he let him off with everything all night. also blew us up everytime we attacked for offside, twice in particular crilly was given offside and wasnt even close. then anytime they were blatantly off he let it go. their second goal in particular was miles off, even their players were laughing at it. but then again, why would he be biased, after all what interest would hook have in us dropping points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched this match and I thought Connor was very lucky to stay on aswell BFP along with their centre half. Cant believe Reidy missed thast chance at the end but then again Moylena missed 2 golden chances at the end also.

Apart from Rab Swann I haven't seen a single good performance from a ref all season to be quite honest. Very poor indeed.

BFP - your version of events would differ from mine to be honest. You and Tommo were at it the whole game. Kick in the face? Possibly but not deliberate. I have played football with Tommo for a long time and he is not that type of player and you should know that! Rules are rules. You lift your hands and you go. Yours was even worse cos it was a cheap shot when his back was turned to you! I also saw the incident where Crilly was booked and he was very lucky to stay on. The only reason he did was maybe the referee didn't want you down to 9 men!? Fait play to you boys with 10 men cos you ran your balls off and did create chances. As for the offsides, i was out to make tackles/blocks anyway so it was irrelevant. I think based on clear cut chances we should have edged the game but neither team took their chances so we will never know. Draw maybe fair in the end.

So moral of the story.....headbutting ok, a shove is a NO NO NO!

Draw maybe fair in the end. me and tommo were at nothing the whole game, the only two times was in the space of a minute, tell me of any other times. the kick on the ground prior to the kick in the face was deliberate, also the kick in the face was when my back was to him and his feet were dangerously high, remember i am over 6 foot so a kick that high is deliberate in my eyes. Also the whistle had already went. I have played against tommo when he was at michelin and against you's and everytime he has been a dirty ba*tard. remember you have only played with him, not against him. i already said crilly should have been sent off for that kick, but tommo kicked him first them held his leg, so he should have been sent off that time aswell, yet he wasn't even booked the whole game long, double standards in my eyes. him and the ref must be nailing each other. lifting your hands in a striking action and you have to go, not for a push. does that mean if im going up for a header and someone pushes me in the back its a red card for him? i dont think so. pushing someone on the back is hardly a cheap shot, its not exactly going to kill him is it. if i had punched him, then yes it would have been a cheap shot and would have deserved a red card, not a f**king push. armie shouting on the line, look at the size of you, you've had worse things happen you, then tommo dives like he has been shot, and that is ok with armie! as for you being out to make tackles, do you not remember the other three times when you made tackles? first one, peter went round you and scored, the second time, you came to kick or punch or god knows what you were trying with my throw in, missed it and paddy logan headed it in, then the third time you were out to tackle a one on one, our man was left with an open net and missed. so lets just say i imagine crilly would have been favourite against you.

Classic Rant Paul. Up there with Rafa! We will have to agree to disagree on a few points, but that's what the forums are all about. Everybody has their own views and opinions. To be honest, I can't remember the head butting incident you are on about, but I am sure if it happened and the ref saw it, then a sending off should have been the outcome. As for the 3 occasions you are talking about; 1) Great dummy and finish by your bro. Just like the dummy i did on him to skin him in the 2nd half. 2) Have to agree the 2nd goal was a complete shocker by me. Tried to punch it and got the faintest of touches on it. Can't be perfect like you all the time. 3) I actually made the one on one tackle on Michael. If I hadn't he would without any question scored as the ball would have run on towards the net. It's not my fault he missed a sitter. I was talking to him afterwards and he said he didn't think he had the time and had to hit it 1st time. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season with the football and gaelic.

but then again, why would he be biased, after all what interest would hook have in us dropping points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you are sore from dropping points last night and from getting sent off and missing the derby match, but that is diabolical statement. Are you trying to insinuate that Hook favours Carniny. Paul do you realise how many points we are ahead of you? Why would we need a referee like Hook to do us favours to stop you gaining points? Hook is one of the better refs in the league. Maybe you should go to Monty with your concerns.

I never play these days unless we are struggling. im sore from getting sent off surely, because in my eyes a push in the back is not a sending off offence. anyone would be pissed off with it.

It started a 20 man brawl, where both teams were at each others throat, the ref, who was clueless, 'abondoned' the game, then 5 mins later played on'....remember....

As far as I can remember Hook hasn't refereed any of our games so far this season ever since Gazza signed last summer. We have even had Waa refereeing us this season in the Junior Cup, and him manager of our biggest rivals. We had no problem with that either. If the ref sees you raise your hands at all, then you risk getting sent off.

Barstool - now I remember. I forgot you play for Glencloy. Just assumed it was All Saints as we played them 3 times in the last month.
You are right about the headbutt. Can't defend that, but you seem to forget some of the conduct of your own players before and after that. Anyhow, the ref didn't see it but our manager did and subbed the player immidiately. He was also warned about his conduct.
Refs are given such a hard time when it's a thankless job. This is BSML and the ref standards are never going to be top class. Look at the decisions from Premier League refs (Howard Webb and dodgy pens at Old Trafford). Mind you, one thing that annoys me is the cost of refs now.
