Steadfast got beat 3-1 by Westend mate.
We drew with them last time and will again be a tough game. Theres rain on the way so hopefully our games go ahead and that both teams on Monday night have to play on saturday as St.Comgalls day off on sat past def helped them against us.

Greene your right there mate if we dont have a fixture 2 days before our cup game im telling yea's anything is possible. I know we are good enough the players know they are good enough so we just got to believe.
Big focus on next season is to get out of the 3rd as I honestly think we could do a job in the 2nd and after watching Penerol Vs Fc Antrim I know we are good enough for the 1st. Lets get a good pre-season like what I have planned out for us and we can certainly win things as a club.

Wouldn't be a bad idea at all to just pretty much carry on training right through just to keep in shape.

Lads you know I will take you for training 7 nights a week it doesnt bother me as the wee Swifts are what makes me tick and I love running the club.
After next week we have only 1 league fixture and 1 cup game left so our season is pretty much over from next week. Im more than happy to keep training as long as the rest of the lads are willing also. I was gona get pre-season sorta up and running proper for about mid June with a good 4 weeks of Tuesday Thursday Saturdays and then into a few pre-season fixtures.
As Ive said before this was my 1st full season in charge of the team and it really has been a transitional period for the club with basically a brand new team from last year with the exception of 4 players so in honesty this year has been a success for the club. June 2009 is all about getting the mentality of the club into the proper gear and everything we do is soley focussed on winnig the league...if you remember what I said before this season I said that I didnt want to go up as anything else but Champions and now that aint gona happen we will next year. We'll keep and buid on the squad we have now and get bigger and stronger as individuals and collectively as a team.
Viva la revolution

Tough game today again lads but that never say die attitude we have at the club saw us through. Nice to see big Rick get 90mins under his belt and a great performance from all the lads esp as we had Phil and Square missing today.
Once we changed things round a little we settled into the game and in all honesty if it hadnt been for the keeper we'd have had it sown up before half time but the way we play football theres always a wee twist to things and we went in at half time again 1-0 down. Great performance in the 2nd and I think we deserved the victory. Fitness is def brilliant and thats whats winning us these games lads and with it and your skill we look forward to every game.

We need a result at wakehurst to put us in a good position for the play offs! All the hard work will be wasted otherwise and this dead arm and leg, black ankle and bruised foot will be for nothing I forgot how you get the s**te kicked out of you in the Saturday morning league

Just seen the updated table, I think we need to beat wakehurst to get a play off spot, they need to beat us to stay in contention for the league title

Rab just had a wee look thru my records and I think that altho we have been beaten 6 time this season only 4 teams have beaten us- St.Comgalls x2,Woodside x1, Connor x1 and Inver x2. Our early season inability to turn draws into wins has certainly hampered our season with us drawing early doors vs Demense and being 2 goals up in many of our 3-3 draws.
Next season hopefully we get that ability to do this and we'l not be 10 points off the leaders

And was also told that led to a 12 point deduction as well as the player bein suspended for the rest of the season so if the protest is upheld then it blows everything wide open again!
