beat 2 nil, the extra time from saturday definitely showed tonight, alot of tired legs out there. st congalls are a very good side and played good football tonight, theres a reason why they are top of the league

Yeah have to agree with you there mate, they arent top of the league for no reason.
We were definatley very tired after sat but I felt that at no time were we ever really out of the match altho we didnt give their keeper enuf to do and when we did he cleared it well, then wee McKinleys effort being cleared off the line cud have been a wee turning point for us but it wasnt to be.
I have no problem with the commitment of the squad tonight as far as effort goes because we were very tired but then again we now play this sat, monday, wed and sat again which is a killer and really tests the squad depth we have.
Great to see big younger back and the knee holding up well so theres some positives to come out of tonights game.
Its a squad game and all memebers will get a run out over the next few days.

Cheers lads. Good luck yourselves. I thought you came into more in the second half, or more so we went out of the game. We were lucky not to conceed at least one with the clearance of the line. How you lads never got a free kick right near the end was funny, even our defender that fouled your lad laughed and said he practically asulted the man. LOL. The ref was to busy talking to one of the LSFC players and missed it thank god. As for the point about having tough players, I would have to agree, with the likes of Masty, Chopper, Dale, Rab and McCor, they are really tough and to experianced to be pushed about to easy. Another thing is to, defensive wise, anything thats comes into the box at height is 99% of the time dealt with. I think there has only been one team to notice that. We have done ok this season considering we have had 2 long term injured players who would be definite first 11. One in fact is out for at least another 6 - 10 months. Only one negative to last night lads, get a few cows on that field. Jez that grass is long.

The grass got that long at 1 stage we lost wee Dale the lad who plays in midfield for us hahaha.
With your name mate maybe you should come up and cut it for us Mowerman.
Yeah we realised that no high balls were ever gona fooking beat you but we couldnt run for balls along the floor so we just humped it all night lol.
Quality team St.Comgalls and I thought that even thou you have beaten us twice this season we never disgraced ourselves against you. We will go on now and hopefully build for next season and gear ourselves to getting out of the 3rd.
We had an Irish league player down last night watching us and he says we are basically 1 player away from being a really good wee squad...Rab.
