A game off few clear cut chances, probably down to the two tight defences and the state of that pitch. Very bobbly. Best chance for us fell to Marcus Spratt in the second half when he inexplicably shot wide from 6 yards out and for All Saints in extra time it nearly fell to Paul McCann but for some reason I think it was Crilly decided to try to punch it. If he had left it there might have been no pens. Knew it wasn't going to be our day when your second?? pen hit a bobble and flew over our keeper when it looked like he would have saved it.

aye it was a great game of football i thought, cant believe crilly done that, it was coming straight to my head and couldnt possibly have missed it. but sure made for exciting viewing going to penos, plus made me look even better saving two penos and scoring one Our fitness really carried us through, and I think we could have played for another 15 or 20 mins, great squad we have gathered together and its at this time of year where everyone is needed.

Although I think your wee left back was done in the second half and if you had left him on, sooner or later Roger Jones would have taken advantage. Youse took him off and brought on fresher legs just in time. I would say that All Saints are the only team in the BSML whose fitness matches ours. Look forward to our league meeting and possibly the Ace Cup later this spring.

aye big time with watto (left back) he was blowing out of his ass after 15 mins. not surprised, i wouldnt like to chase roger once, never mind time and time again, he has some pace and his touch is top notch. defo the best player in the league. I agree with you in terms of the fitness, thats the gaelic that give us that fitness. The soccer helps our fitness for the gaelic and vice versea, not too many of our boys need to do any pre season training cos we are all fit from the gaelic. Looking forward to another couple of meetings aswell, should be two good games if of course we do meet in the semis or in the final itself. Id say there will be a good crowd at them aswell.
