Thought we were robbed this morning, referee will not be mentioned but i thought we did more than enough for a point and could have got three. Lisnafillon started well and probably deserved the 1-0 lead after the first 15- 20 minutes or so but in my opinon we had the better of it the rest of the 1st half and the second- i think swifts would agree they got out of jail today.

How is Cussy? Looked like a nasty gash.
A draw would have been a fair result today and I personnally didn't see what we were given the free kick for, but you must admit, it wasn't exactly in a dangerous position (our half of the centre circle). Don't think you guys created enough really. We had a few chances, including Marrsy in front of an open net!! Don't remember Roy having to make any saves. Your 'keeper did well against Rab and Simon in one on one situations. Don't think you can blame the ref. We were lucky to have one in the second half and were more than happy for your guy to continue. I can understand your disappointment though as you definately dominated for large spells. Good luck for the rest of the season, I'm certainly glad that we don't have to meet in the league again this season!

I have to agree we were lucky. Yes Westend didn't really create too many chances but they still kept the ball better and we were very sloppy at times. I think we did actually create the better chances now that I think about it. Marrsy had a sitter, Rab had a one on one and another decent one at the back stick.
A draw would have been fair. I think it was an honest mistake by the referee. Its not like he came on and gave us everything. He was fair even though he made one or two mistakes. I know the goal came from one but it was from a free kick about 10 yards in our own half, not a penalty kick wrongly awarded or something like that.
I did feel sorry for you guys at the end to be honest and wish you luck with the rest of your season.

Have to say was talking to the ref after the match and he told me the reason for the free kick being awarded was because your captain adam campbell told him to f*ck off to his face (which is a bookable offence by the letter of the law).....play would have continued otherwise and as it has been said a free kick in our own half...think you should look at your defenders before you start blaming anyone else as the two players winning the flick ons where our shortest two players. And i think that he was pretty fair and a lot better than the guy you had in the first half. But fair play to both of them as they had turned up to watch the match not ref it and its a thankless task no matter who does it.

Aye cussy had to get 18 stitches in his big head!!
I thought we deserved at least a draw having pretty much controlled the game, especially the 2nd half.

like I said to Paul Ritchie when i came off, I let use away with 2 today, i should of taken the 1 on 1 earlier and i cramped up in mid air at the back stick near the end! lol, it was good to be back, i need to get my sharpness back though, last time i played was september! It was a good game, though i thought it was our own fault for giving the ball away for the goal, we had more chances on goal and should have taken them

All fair points made by the lisnafillon lads, but you got to admit its had to accept losing like that with only a couple of minutes to go.

Definately hard to accept losing like that. Now that I think on it the goal we gave away was so soft. Trevor trying to beat a quick player with the ball at his feet about 20 yards inside his own half. Shouldn't be happening.

18 stitches! Thats a nightmare. Wish Cussy all the best and I'm sure I speak for our whole squad on that one. Was a bit of a freak accident.
