Harryville Homers 7-0 Abbeyview
Taught a harsh lesson on saturaday by a ruthless homers team. Homers are a very good side and I think we just gave them too much respect. They were never 7 goals better than us but if you lie down the way we did in the second half then a team like the homers will punish you and thats what they did! We only let ourselves down on saturday and now we need to bounce back quickly starting with the cup game this week which will give us a nice break from the league!

Watched this game on Saturday morning, and the Homers were 7 goals better than Abbeyview, and in fact should have won by at least 12 as they missed a catalogue of chances. That was as bad a performance as I have seen this season from Abbeyview. |

I honestly didnt think we were that bad in the first haf and I felt the 3-0 half time scoreline flattered them. The second half we were awful. The way in which we gave up in the second half was unforgivable and thus we got the lesson we deserved.

Agree with a few points made by both posters. I was down and watched this game also and it wasnt a great match to be honest. I thought abbeyview should have had more shots at the homers keeper who isnt a keeper and def looked uncomfortable in nets. Some of abbeyviews defending was woeful we left when it was 5-0 i think
