Big match saturday. Hope its on. If we still harbour any realistic ambitions about winning this league then 3 points are a must in this match. I'd probably take a draw but if we play at our best no reason as to why we can't win.
Few boys hopefully signing at the meeting this week too. Competition for places and all that!

It's up in Larne pmac. Thanks for the best wishes all the same though As you say Stewartie a result is a must. If we battle like we did against Woodisde and the weather is a little kinder (which i doubt lol) there's no reason why we can't go down there and get a result. Just hope we turn up and play the wat we can! We've been too hit and miss this season and need to get some consistency going!

3-2 win ;D
Super result and super performance, brilliant battling to get the win today and we fully deserved it. After going 1-0 i feared the worst but after a shaky start we got back into it and went in 2-1 up at half time. Took us a while to start the second half as well but grabbed the 3rd and despite them scoring a penalty with about 10 to go and throwing everything at us we stood firm, and Dean Young made a couple of super saves to keep us in front!
Lets hope we can push on from here and get a run of results going!

Great result lads well done. That result along with Cullybackey drawing with St Comgalls last week has blown Division 3 wide open.
Over half-way through season but still about 8 sides could win Division 3.

Glenn didn't score Merv, Coyle and McCleary and kyle is claiming a dubious goal, possibly an o.g. Agree with what Norton says, great result but it'll be pointless unless we push on and get 3 points in our next match. However I've got a feeling the cup could be next week. Anyone what to make a predicition as to the two teams getting automatically promoted from this league?! Any 2 from 8 I'd say!

Stewartie, you'd be good one to pick any 2 teams from about a possible 9/10 sides. Everyone beating each other. Dont even think Toals Bookmakers would give you a good price on anyone at the minute.
Looked at the league table last week and think youse were about 9th/10th, but had a stack of games to play, if youse win them youre right in there as well, this league is open to anyone at the minute, should go right to the wire. Nothing more than about 8/10 points seperating everyone down to 10th, i think? Any team that goes on to win a few games on the bounce could be looking good for one of those promotion places at least.
Should be an interesting couple of months in this league, all still to play for, especially after the good win Connor had today, fair play to youse.

Exactly. It'll be a very tough, exciting and interesting few months for the teams in the 3rd division. I think the important thing at the minute is to play every saturday for the next month and maybe get a run of 3 or 4 wins in a row to keep momentum up. Was checking the table there myself, think we go level on points with St Comgalls if we win all 4 of them, which is a hell of a task but by no means impossible. But we at Connor really have to take one game at a time, and hopefully our match next saturday will be playable. Don't think we've had a match on two saturdays in a row ALL season! Will be interesting run in, best of luck to all involved...well, with the exception when playing us

McCleary and Kyle got the other 2. That was only after a pint too..haha

In respect to the new signings we got two new boys on board with Richard McMaster coming from Demesne, who can play anywhere along the back and Dean Ritchie/Surgenor (as i've been told 2 different surnames and dunno which one it is lol) from Wakehurst Athleticwho can play at the back or in midfield, so i'm told. Both have trained a few nights with us and will definitely add to the squad.

Lee had already signed the back of the form for that one and as far as i know the other one did as well. They were definitely paid for! There was a cock up with another one that was supposed to go through as the boy that attends the meetings for us is a bit useless to say the least lol. The Cameron's kept that one quiet Harty! I'll be more than happy to get a kick at them on Saturday though to make up for it

Haha he's useless like, no harm to him. Did you like his tash? haha, he started growing it a few weeks ago, he takes some stick for it.
Jonny only played one game and ryan played a few from the start but seemed to lose interest. Handier for training and stuff for them like. Two good signings if you can get them both match fit... Jonny is fit but hasnt played any football in a while i think! Plus they can only play every other week which didnt help either!
