Be a good game saying Broadway have picked up a bit since last time the 2 teams met at the showgrounds where The View played Broadway off the park.
Close one to call but i'll go for a Home win...2-1

the game changed in a mad few minutes in the second half in which we were reduced to 8 men!! feel a little hard done by as we felt that minutes before this a view player should have walked for a last man tackle, and could also have had their big centre half sent off when after a poor challenge from one of our players he took it upon himself to kick him!! but sure all decision aint gonna go ur way!!
prob would have been a different game but for these sendings off and feel that if we had even had 10 men on the pitch we would have got at least a point!!

as i said i wasn there but heard that the tackle was a terrible 1 not condonein the reaction but can certainly understand it! No doubt it was the changin point in the game

i dont know the ins and outs of it, but from what i gather, there was a big melee involving both teams, which resulted in 3 brokeback players getting sent off, and no abbeyview players getting sent off, seems very strange to me. Although i'll certainly not be complaining, our match still on next sat spaghettihoops |

1 player was given a straight red for a tackle which resulted in the melee! 2 players were booked in the melee 1 abbeyview and 1 broadway, it happened 2 be the broadway players 2nd yellow. The third player was sent off for slaberin 2 the ref after the 2nd yellow. Well thats how it was explained 2 me.

ah right i see. I certainly didnt get that explanation. the way i was told was that it was 3 straight reds. that explains it.

that is exactly what happened jeff, and we aint saying our boys didnt deserve to go but a bit of consistance is all we were looking for!! an abbeyview player jumped into a tackle in the first half with 2 feet, but luckily our man got outta the way or he could have been injured, should that not been a sending off as well!! plus abbeyview expected their big centre half to be sent off duirng the incident as they had a sub stripped out to come in at the back for them so even your management were shocked jeff that use still had 11 men on the pitch!! and fair play to the referee when i asked him at the end of the game what our players had been sent off for he explained why and explained his decisions as to why no abbeyview players were sent off!! i may not have agreed with his decisions but at least he was big enough to explain his decisions!!
and as i said in my earlier post minutes before the "melee" we had a man clean through and pulled back but yet the abbeyview player was only booked!!
it was madness that in a game that wasnt particularly dirty had 3 red cards!!
and yes the game is still on this saturday bfp, but hugo has offered to play 5 a side on saturday since we have so many suspensions!!

I would agree with everything you said there hoops. He shouldve maybe gave Your player a straight red (Gareth Gordan???) then he wouldve had no choice but to give our player a red.
I was also suprised that perky stayed on because i thought he was last man aswel.
ps. Why has no-one mentioned the open net fish missed?? I take it he is still to tired to post.
