after several years of poor results under the castle knights monkier a group of young harryville lads joined the club and wev gradually turned the club around completely progressing each year, our squad this year is our strongest yet after a few good signings and from wats I hear wee lee rafa benitez Mitchell has another ace up his sleeve at the next meeting to add more steel!!!!!!could we maintain our push all season?

Yeah wev had a few bad results lately, wev been missin most o r midfield n only had two fit forwards which ain't helpin, but I'm not going t make excuses we haven't performed lately I wasn't there on sat but I don't think we were great n against antrim we shoulda hammered em long ball team if ever I saw one one good player the wee num10 puts himsel about rightly

He not exactly wee lol, shirt that day was like lycra You boys have a decent side. if yous concentrated on playing your football instead of crying to the ref every 5 seconds. Yous came to us expecting to get all 3 points without making any effort, and yous were wrong. Your midfield is one of the strongest in the league, without doubt, and I fully expect yous to be right in the mix at the end of the season, as long as you can keep getting out your strongest team.

Have to agree with some of what pug has said in that you'se really do some gurning at yourselves and the refs I havent seen or heard worse all year. Last weeks match cuda went any way as wee fred missed a great opportunity in the 2nd half and we missed a few chances first half.
Gona be a good run in during them midweek games and squad size doesnt matter you can have 40 players signed but you need a strong squad something which we at the swifts certainly have and with us missing a few players on sat past its a kick up the arse for boys ... nobodies place is safe not even mine lol.

Sounds like you're havin a pop there Stan. Want to name a few names with that one, although i cant say much about the Athletico game as i wasnt there. Not much of anything to talk about in our game including slabbering etc. until we were looking to make a sub and ref played on from throw in and youse scored a suspect goal, think the new 5 yards ahead of the last defender rule hasnt been introduced yet, possibly wrong on that one, maybe the ref didnt believe he was interfering with play when he put the ball in the back of the net? That decision sort of kicked the slabbering off along with you're defender trying to man-handle our right midfielder. Cant remember if player doesnt have the ball within 10 yards of him can you still challenge and try and push him over the line, maybe he was meant to playing at Eaton Park for the Rugby team on Sat past? Leave that one with you Stan. We'll look forward to midweeks as well as anyone, missed far to many players the last few weeks and had to start with a forward and right back in the centre of park against Lisnafillan. A few players due back as well as some great signings (including Antony Blair from Carniny & Gary Robinson)about to start playing for us, league is still wide open and we're confident of starting to pick up points sooner rather than later.

WAFC I respect you too much to start naming names etc mate we go back a long fecking way and Im not gona fall out with you over a game of footie mate.
I always said this season to our boys that you were the team to beat if we finish above you then we'l be doing ok.
Our goal was 2 yards offside but we thought yours was offside too lol so whos right and whos wrong.
Your still ahead of us and of course your gona start picking up points again ffs lol youse are too good not too.
Settle you the head your too old for that now hahaha and Il see you at the meeting Monday night where Il tell you all about it over a lucozade

Stan, you know i wouldnt fall out with ya over a game of football, and your not far wrong, to old for it m8 All i'm sayin is that there wasnt much of anything in our game, a couple of missed chances for both teams but it looked like it was going to run out a 0-0 draw, thought we could have played to this saturday and still no-one would have scored, until youse scored that goal, which i thought the ref got wrong. Guess a bit of frustration showed then with not getting anything out of the game. As i said sometimes the decisions go against you and sometimes with, which you hope even themselves out over the season, just took some exception to certain things, we've tried to get our team opening there mouths, for to long they wouldnt shout for any decisions, bout time they did, i certainly wont be slating them for it, although i do take on board certain things about talking back to refs and not concentrating on there own game. Refs decisions are made and thats it, there not goin to change there minds, which our players need to learn and get on with it.

As i said to you during the week mate i gave our boys a roasting down at larne last week for doing exactly what you said...not seeming to be up for the game in that they were standing off and letting the other team dictate and not looking decisions etc so I agree with you I suppose in that way. Mate you have a super squad there and you know I want us both to go up. If you get your best team out every week mate you wont have too much to worry about as your early season form proved.
As you say some decisions go for you some against and I agree they hopefully even themselves out over the course of the season because we have been at the end of some horrendous decisions so I know and share your frustration mate.
I was down there watching the homers game at wakehurst and Id like to know where these games are called off from because our pitch in galgorm is in super nick and way better than the pitch that the homers played on this morning.

Pitches at Wakehurst are generally poor after any type of bad weather and its a suprise any game was played there today, something needs to be done by the teams who play there to protest our something to the council to try and get something sorted out. As for your pitch at Galgorm it seems to stand up Ok to a bit of bad wether, but are these pitches inspected and then called off our is a decision made by some guy lookin out of a window at Ardeevin and sayin its to wet to allow matches on, one for the ballymena council to look at!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe someday they'll decide to invest some money and improve the facilities used by God knows how many rate-payers in the Ballymena area and further afield to bring the pitches up to a standard that will allow at least the majority of matches to be actually played on a Saturday morning, instead of all the mid-weeks which will surely have to crammed in. Would like to know how many matches that are ever called off at the forum and at sandy bay (larne), possibly very few, maybe some of the teams who play there could pass comment on that one.

Quality of pitches & facilities at Forum by far the better standard to the facilities etc at Wakehurst. Games called off all the time which leads to stacks of midweeks, which most teams and players can do without. Although bad news that Forum changing rooms had been broken into recently and valubles stolen, saying that, heard that money etc had been stolen from changing rooms at Wakehurst recently?

Yeah seems to be a regular thing now with loads of teams getting done over most recent I know of is FC Inter getting done up at ballykeel. They got £340 nicked and some documents etc. Why oh why do people take this large amounts of money to footie with them.
