all saints 0 - 1 carniny
good even game of football, draw would have been a fair result i think, but carniny are where they are because of the way they can grind out a result when up against it. Couldnt see from where i was standing, but anyone that saw the goal said it was a good two yards offside, so Carniny possibly lucky to snatch all 3 points

It was never offside. Only people claiming it was offside where Homers officials, and they're biased as they need us to drop points. There weren't too many All Saints players remonstrating with the ref, which is always a sign that it was a good goal. If we keep a clean sheet, we are always liable to score. A hard fought game, but we expect that from the likes of All Saints and the Homers. Chances were few and far between, but when one comes along, you have to take it and I thought we maybe had missed the best chance when Aaron Wilkinson headed wide 5 minutes before the winner was scored. A good goal from Roger Jones and a lovely ball played in by Dick Reid. We weren't as fluid in our passing and control today as we would normally be, but to get three points whilst not at our best is a good sign for whenever we click again.

dunno, crazy!
nearly as bad as us kicking the ball out in 15 yards into the carniny half for an injured player, then they "give us it back" by kicking it out for a throw in 5 yards from our by-line! booooooo!!!!

And it was nice to see that All Saints weren't giving all the throw-ins their way regardless of who it came off, for a change.

Thats cos BFP was doing the flag, fair man you see, I gave 3 or 4 to you's and Brian over ruled me and gave the throw to us. I was ready to slabber and give off to him, until I realised that I was happier with his decisions on these occassions Though to be fair I probably should have played, think we would have sneaked one or two if I was. Whether I had scored them or created them with my back post throws ins
