i have no doubt after todays performance against Shore that we will win the league. the keel were outstanding from start to finish and should have one by more than the one nil scoreline. we were in this position a couple of years ago and blew it but this is most definitely the best team to come out of the keel in years and slipping up is not on our agenda.

Saturday was a big result for Ballykeel. Missing quite a few players and still ground out the result.
Think you's will be promoted but may just be pipped by Ahoghill for the title.

Agree with that Harty, watched a couple of the Rover's games this season and they look really strong, as do Ballykeel, but think Ahoghill have a wee bit more! Ps Clough to go down ;D

Rovers are the best side I have seen this season in the second. Ballykeel werent great against Templepatrick, but still got the result, but Rovers for me will win it

for us to hold our own this year against Rovers speaks volumes for the keel, remember that game against Templepatrick, went one nil down early on before playing some of the best football this season to turn it round and hammer them. i think people expected us to blow a gasket after losing two in a row there having done the exact same in the last couple of seasons when close to promotion. i think you'll find this year we will go up and perhaps surprise everybody by going up as champions.

great boost in the title push. Thought he would have joined next season! your right jeff and with only 6 games left he will be a great acquisition provided he signs that is. with rusty from the homers and perhaps rab crawford from riverdale the keel could have themselves a pretty good team for next year in the 1ST DIVISION.

If you signed all three of them you would be in good shape for the 1st.

Ballykeel put in the form for Bonesy's signing at the meeting last night.

I was thinkin the same cocky in that Barry Bonnes and Jason Magill have been playing so well and scoring the goals to take Ballykeel to the top of the league and i'm sure neither would be too happy at losin there place, although its still a super signing, no doubt about that.

with big bonzi coming in it will only add to the competition for places at the keel. i think a few of our boys have got very complacent in the last few weeks to the point where we are stuttering over the finishing line. Big jorjani came off the bench with 15 mins to go at the weekend to pull us back from 2 down against Braid and basically scare the f**k out of them with his aggresive tackling and presence. he has only featured a couple of times this year due to an injury picked up in last years play off final. he is now fighting fit and is like having a new signing at this late stage in the season. with our own to strikers struggling for goals since christmas these two additions will definitely put them on their toes.

harty, norton and pugford still sticking to your guns?think the scoreline speaks for itself and tbh we've played beta teams this yr but rovers aren't were they are for nothing, keel were just the beta team on the day!not shout to soon 12pts still to get.but we can shout abit as one more win sees us into the 1st next yr,and as doc says 1st time in the clubs history!!!!!!!!com on the keel titles there for the taking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the keel are now five points clear with four games remaining. if we win one more we are guaranteed first division football next year and three wins will give us the title.
Ballykeel's remaining games:
home to Randalstown Athletic away to Randalstown Reds away to Ahoghill Thistle away to Clough Rangers
Ahoghill Rovers remaining games:
home to Ahoghill Thistle home to Randalstown Reds home to Randalstown Athletic home to Riverdale
The Keel have no game next saturday or the following week according to the fixtures sent out to me.
On Saturday week 9th April the Ahoghill derby takes place so i think we will head out to watch this game as it will have a huge bearing on the league.

I make it that after the defeat suffered by Michelin and the draw for Riverdale that mathematically Ballykeel are promoted to the First Division for next season.
Well done Ballykeel.

a win on saturday away to clough rangers will give us the title and queue the bar crawl starting in clough, via the moat bar and up to the keel.
