What a miss on saturday! Gary plays a great ball into the box from the right wing, currie free inside the 6 yard box, ball lands right on his nut and........oh he's headed it over. Ha ha!! He can kick it, but can he head a ball is the question?

Yeah, was a shocking miss from the man himself but think we have to be a bit lenient on him here, he has scored a fair few already this season!! Maybe headed goals are hard to come by from him, a bit of Thierry Henry in him perhaps?

Perhaps should have done better with the chance on Saturday but was just a fraction too high for me to get over it. I have already scored 1 header this season (the same number as yourself) which is 1 more than I scored last season. I do remember scoring 1 in my very first friendly for Westend. It was the same game as the boss played Burney + Bolan up front - what was he thinking

Speaking of headed goals I managed 4 last season and on top of that a strike from the edge of the box on the turn!!!! I could take Currie for header training but not sure I have the same spring in my legs these days.........no comments required from anyone!!!
Burney and Bolan did a marvellous job upfront and made the Riverdale centrebacks work hard (not to mention kicking lumps outta them). We only got 10 mins as strikers so might be a bit premature to judge us. Lets face it, with my pace and Bolans brutality we'd have made a great partnership..........kind like Morientes and Cisse!!!! (and they both scored last nite before anyone slags)
Bring back the B&B partnership..............

Why are we concerned about our top striker missing one chance when the majority of our midfield haven't scored all season nor do they look likely to score,
trevor greer got one many moons ago when i believe he was playing up front, cussy has got 3 or 4 also playing up front.
Its a disgrace, Bolan has more goals this year than the whole of the midfield!!!!
In the words of a great footballing mind, Delia Smith " Come on midfield, Lets be having you!!"
Also, the only head that needs discussin is the bosses himself, notice it been cut recently but a lot more needs to be done to that bap.

Sounds like free scoring Zinedine fancies a place in the WAFC midfield. Don't think it'll help his chances by slagging off the gaffer's barnet.

Oh dear small another joke you cant play along to! Currie's record says it all, he doesn't need any more encouragment . I have agree that we perhaps do need more goals from midfield but it can also be said that the midfield has worked hard to help the defence this year (a weaker area of ours last year) and we have been alot better this year in that dept as a result. Perhaps some fine tuning is needed just. Oh and i have a better goals to games ratio than dc up front, 4 in 2!!

Oh and i have a better goals to games ratio than dc up front, 4 in 2!! Is that your personal target this season? To beat Currie on the goals to games ratio playing up front? If so don't play up front for the rest of the season, don't think dave will beat 2 goals a game ratio. ;D
