anyword on wether or not your match with homers will be replayed? or will one of the teams be thrown out of the competition? not a pretty sight by all accounts, then after the match was abandoned i hear the fighting started again in the changing room area???

I heard it was blew up with a minute to go so i think the result will stand but if what i heard about the fighting is true then i think both teams will get punished. |

I think you will find that one team has already got thrown out of the competition - the Homers ;D. By all accounts Raj threw them all out in one go just before the end of the match. Wsn't there to see any of it but it would be a pity if Carniny were punished when they had the game won by the looks of things. At the end of the day the Homers had nothing to lose when they were 3-1 down but like most things on here I am sure it has been blown out of proportion and was all handbags or manbags as the new fashion accessory apparently is now. |

Ill be surprised if Ritchie wasnt involved somewhere along the way. im not that sure to be honest, first story i heard was that it happened after the final whistle, fighting between someone on carniny line and a homers player, then another fight broke out at the other end. then it all kicked off again in the changing room area. Then i heard from a homers player that it happened after about 75 mins and the ref abandoned the match just as the homers were starting to get on top (albeit this could be biased as it was from a homers player). I think one thing for certain is that the match was abandoned, but the teams involved are wanting to keep this covered to avoid punishment, which to be fair i think we would all do the same. however can't see most teams getting away with it. it would be interesting to hear raj's side of the story, although he might have been pre occupied at the time  |
