Usually cant be arsed doing these now but after today's performance, compared to the past few weeks pretty poor performances, its good to give credit when its due

First half Hollywood Rec played with the wind behind them but didnt make the most of it, with both teams only really creating a couple half chances which werent taken so the half ended up scoreless.

2nd half we took the game to them and Froggy opened up the scoring with a nice finsh after a well worked move. We continued to get at them with Ricky Hanna and Johnny both scoring goal's to finish the game off.

Probably was our best performance of the session, against a pretty good team as well. IF we would play anywhere near the way we did today in most games this season, we would be sitting right up there with Ballykeel. Anyway, 11 games unbeaten now so were getting there.

Alrte lads, i was just wondering if there are byes in the next round? or the following rounds?

Because on the nifootball website it says there's 46 matches in round 2. The next round should have 23 matches. Then round 4 would have 11.5 matches. But say a team were given a bye in round 4 (which i think would be unfair so late in the competition) that'd mean 11 matches being played. This would still make the scheduling a mess. The only way I can see it not being a mess is if there's still more teams to enter the competition, or 14 teams are given a bye in round 3 or 7 teams in round 4.

Yes, Mich. A few teams should automatically progress to round 4 (judging by the way the competition was run last season). In fact, there were more fixtures in round 4 than in round 3.
