Northend 2 -3 Waveney Swifts A battle for both teams, from start to finish, and in my opinion, either team could have won it, but fotunately, Waveney took their chances and got the 3 points. A lot of credit has to go to Northend, who were unlucky in front of goal, and never gave up. Waveney took the lead with a cracking 30 yarder from Paul Craigm but Northend came back strong, and got two goals in the space of 15 minutes in the first half. Waveney pulled it together though, and pulled one back from Willy McNabb to make it 2-2. Second Half wasnt pretty, and both teams couldve taken their chances to take the lead, but fortunately for the Waveney, Neil Mcfadden went through with 5 minutes left and scored the winner. Another 3 pts on the baord for the Waveney! Good luck to Northend for rest of season, next encounter at the Waveney will probably be a battle also!! |

Harty, we havent played up there in a few weeks, so i culdnt honestly tell you! Weather in Ballymena has been bad enough this week, so it could be 50:50 chance!
