Have to agree with you there Davy.
I think once the mid week games finish, and we get everyone back from injury and get a bit of consistancy we'll be a decent team this season.
The new singings we've made over the summer look good, and there are a couple more to come in, so things are lookin shweet

I won't hid the fact that its me that is a doubter, as you did ask for the truth. Looking at the rest of the teams in the division i see a lot of teams that are potentially better than TFC ad based on that I reckon you's will finish in the bottom 3

Your way out Catgirl, but then i'm not surprised. No team could do well when yor involved Puggie Sorry lads but the fact I think you lost your best player to Abbeyview and didn't really bring in anyone of any note (or at least not yet). You only just survived last year, and the three teams that came up form the 3rd, I think 2 of them (FC Interstars & Shore) are better equipped this season than yourselves. Don't get me wrong thou......I would like to see you's do well, especially for Bloo and Jakey, but I do think you will struggle.

We lost a great player in Jamie no doubt, for when he actually played and wasnt suspended.
But, what you dont know is who we have signed Davy. We have signed a few very good players. And have also brought in a couple that used to play for us, who are also quality.
We have a very good squad.
I suppose the proof of the pudding is in the eating, so time will tell. I believe that we will do well this season. Looking forward to the challenge.

Rich Clough will struggle this season more than Temple

Puggy, i think i've stated before that Templepatrick have potential to be a decent footballing side. In my opinion though, through past experience, you need to sort out your, ahem... ...sportsmanship, so to speak. I dont think any team we play will think that this season. You can judge for yourself. We have a lot of new guys in the team, and our conduct has been second to none. *This quote was taken from the New Season thread on the RAFC area* I maintain what i have said on a few occasions with regards to Templepatrick having potential, just not sure if you'll be able to achieve that potential this season. That remains to be seen. It's worth mentioning though, that your conduct last Saturday was a far cry from previous encounters.

I think its Spurs who will struggle more than others. Well maybe Clough might struggle without their top goalscorer from last year... But you never know, he could be on his way back soon...

I would say it was more like 2 points lost on saturday, rather than 1 point gained. 3 nil up with 15 minutes to go. It was shocking to concede 3 goals the way we did.
Credit must go to riverdale who never gave up, and once they got their first goal you could see how much it lifted them.
A smashin finish from Ross McNab got the TFC started. He set himself up at the edge of the box and smashed his shot past the keeper right into the right top corner. Defo a contender for goal of the season.
Jonny Fields then hit a thunderous free kick from all of 35 yards, only to see the goalkeeper spill it into the net.
The 3rd goal came from a corner which was well met with the head by Andy Kennedy to open his account for the season.
3 goals were then conceeded and it ended up in a draw.
Disappointing result, as we were a different class for 60 minutes of the game. The best football I have seen us play this season. Jonny Fields has been a super signing, as has Davie Moore. Both outstanding at the back.
Alan Jones made his comeback in the last 15 minutes and should of won it for the home side, but his shot went just past the post.

Yes fair play too Riverdale who made the game very watchable from teh sideline. Very good game, everyone should be pleased with the football they played but not the result. Indeed goal of the season from young McNab, great goal, but the comments he made after that " get off my pitch " LMAO Two points dropped defo, but again if TFC play the footy they did on Saturday for the rest of the season then top half finish. No doubt. Unlucky lads well played indeed.

On the final finish I would say now that we have had a few more games, I would be confident we can finish in the top 4 this season.
A lot of new players at the club, and as expected it has taken time to come together. Our past few performances have been good, though the fitness could still be better as we have faded in the last 15 mins or so. (Esp against Riverdale)
Home fixture this week against Inter Stars, who i'm sure will be out to make amends for their previous 2 results. Esp the hammering they received from Shores Whores

No, that one was cleared off the line. It was 3 nil to us still at that stage.
To be fair, Riverdale were lucky to get a point in the game. We totally dominated it. It was more 2 points lost by us.
Some finish all the same in that vid
