Another match to look forward to against St Comgalls at home again for the second week in a row ,and in a cup I lifted many times myself in the past. We have a few players cup tied and will certainly miss them , but it will give other players a chance to show me what they can or can't do. So its ''Never give up ''for Randalstown F C .

I think this will be the tie of the round. St Comgalls will be no push over . Great spirit at the reds at the moment which should see them through but you never know.

yeah think will definitely be a tough game against what looks a useful side in Div 3 who have started well
at least it is at home again down the River Plate which is a bit of a bonus as no long trek to Larne on Sat morning
hopefully we can continue on from last weeks good performance
what round is this anyway B ??

yeah, should be a good game, although it should be alot tougher than it looks on paper. 1st V 3rd. but hey, thats football!
were on the rebound after a s**ty defeat in junior shield last week, with nearly a full squad fit it could be worth a while popping down to see this one! :-)

R from what I have been told it is for a quarter final place. There will be a big turnout tonight a the forum from the Reds , it will be good for sharping us up . It is nice to get a change now and again ( ;D strickly football I might add ;D) and with the squad very committed at the min , we must keep them keen and not bore the hell out of them!!!

Randalstown F.C where really made to work hard for this win! If that is the team St Comgalls put out every week which I have no doubt probably is, they will be in the 2nd division easily next year. They played the last 15 minutes with their goal keeper at the half way line, playing as a center back trying to get the 2 goal deficit back, but anyhow Randalston F.C are now in the hat for the quarter final draw and really don't care who they get and with their "Never give up!" motto, totally installed in their minds you never know! It will be nice to get our 2 cup tied players back for our next league match. I do believe we missed them today but with no one sure of their place in the starting 11 it's up to everyone to impress! Man of the match Brian Surgenor
Randalstown F C 3 1 St Comgalls

Yeah B this was a real tough game againt a good footballing side who are defintely not 3rd division standard.
They would definitely not look out of place in the 1st Div with the team they had on Sat.
Though the no. 6 in midfield was quality for them as well as the no 8 and their centre half
However with Brian 'red hot' Surgenor in the form he is in - he was just too much for them on the day
A few tasty tackles going in too but all in all a good game and another win to take the Reds into the 1/4 finals.........
hopefully we can continue this in the league this Sat !
