Must say i really enjoyed this game apart from the score obviously The game started and Penerol went 2 up within 10 minutes and I said to myself this is going to be a long day! But give the Reds credit they learn very quickly what the problem was and soon had the score back to 2-1 penalty scored by Willy Mc Kitt. The young Reds side soon came into this game more and more and equalized through Brian Surgenor. Half time score 2-2 The half time talks certainly sorted out a lot of problems but to the Reds dismay Penerol took the lead about 2 or 3 minutes from the start of the second half. But the Reds new motto "Never give up!!" came into to question they took Penerol apart soon got the equalizer to make it 3 each. There was only going to be 1 winner in this game Penerol where out on their feet, but again the quality of Sean Quinn made them pay in the final minutes with his penalty to give Penerol an undeserved win! To sum the game up the Reds learned so much today from this game if you stand off good players and let them play they will punish you. Penerol know they were in a real fight today and I'm sure at least a draw with the Reds would have been a fair result. Me myself am very excited about being in the first division and with the young side the Reds have; who were outstanding today! They have improved so much from last year and have so much more to offer, but need to get back to winning ways A.S.A.P!! Penerol were a very hard but fair team with some very good midfield players good luck to them the rest of the season! and a special mention to the ref Gary Crawford. Apart from the final penalty being well outside the area and could have sent David play anywhere Waddell off had a good game .And finally to Weedo our center half come goal keeper for the last 2 weeks, it's hopefully back to Sam Foster from next week on!

Half time score 2-2 was a good tight game back 4 but the one i played in had penarol 2-1 up at half time and 3-1 up before brian surgenor scored. well played reds all the same

yeah thought the Reds played well after getting over the terrible first 10 mins we had when we just didnt start.
Young Kitty up front has been great all season and was a handful again on Sat with his pace and determination.
wasa good battle against a quality team in Penerol and hopefully this team side can only get better and improve especially with our Never Give Up motto !
Special mention to Weedo for stepping in again for nets - definitely improved from last week. Apart from running into the post in the first few seconds of the match he gave a good display !
