Brian, as I had already said in a previous thread, heard a rumour that you will be taking a position within the ranks of Ballymena Utd next season. Just wondered if you would comment on this.

Bremner it has been a long hard season for me and I can only imagine how the Legend feels. Yes it is no secret to say i have been helping in at Ballymena Utd and have also been successful at winning the Irish junior cup in the under 10's of which my own Son plays for. I also have achieved to coaching badges this is something that i would like to continue on and would aim for the heights off the Fifa B which could be possible for me to reach in a couple of years. Already i have started looking for players for next season the response has been very positive i am not stupid enough to think that the Reds do not need five or six quality players. I can say already i have had a few coaching offers of which i will sit down and study them all but at the minute it is to soon to say but when the time is right the players of Randalstown F.C will find out in the near future. I am sure you alone know the commitment it takes to run a successful team even in the standard of the Saturday morning league. Some people can say cheap remarks about teams but i have the up most respect for all managers who want to win and achieve great heights in whatever standard of football they are in. Thanks for the concern over my own future it will hardly stop the world revolving!! ;D

Really admire your commitment to junior football and I am impressed about you taking your coaching badges. I completed my Pre-lim badge about 13 years ago. Was really good. If you get the opportunity Brian and you seem to be ambitious, you need to take it. Easy for me to say after a great season with the Reds. Best of luck what ever you do.

Just wondering was there any further developments in Brian Rainey taking up a position with Ballymena Utd youth.
Would be a major loss if he were.
If he is, I'm sure Mr Waddell has some ambitions to steer the ship........what you think Weedo?
