Was a very tight game in are last meeting ,but this is a game we need something from.

big game tonight reds we need the three points Yes Kitty this is a big week for us ,come Sat afternoon things will look clearer to what is going to happen in the league!!. Its a big change from this time last year . Its a long time ( maybe never )since Randalstown F C has been in contention for promotion out of the 2nd div and the league table does not lie |

Match report.
We were short of a few first team players tonight through work commitments. The game started with the Reds playing into a very strong head wind but they were soon on the front foot creating a lot of very good chances.
Barry Mott bursts through and drove an unstoppable shot into the net to make it 1 nil to the Reds.
Braid had the ball a few times but never really got through on goal.
Randalstown then made it 2 nil through Brian Surgenor an unstoppable shot again.
Half time came with the score a comfortable 2 nil.
The second half started with Randalstown having the strong wind behind them and soon were creating more chances but then Braid started to come into the game with i think the young Reds side feeling the pressure a little bit.
Braid did score to make it 2-1 before Peter the great Hurrell scored Randalstowns 3rd to finish the game off.
To sum the game up Randalstown played well in the 1st half against the wind.
The second half was all panic and just needed a calm head or two but i do believe the players minds were on Wednesday nights game.
I don't think anybody could argue that the Reds didn't deserve to win this game another 3 points and another game less to play!
Good luck! to braid if they are in with a shout for the play offs i haven't got a clue as i have not seen the league tables

good result, it was a battle but another three points. stevey dripps sending off i dont want to mention, as for my booking...y?  brian gave me the ball to take a throw in and as soon as i got it, he booked me for time wasting.. i dont understand it. as for the referees performance as a whole, if he got 2 correct decisions in a row id be surprised a complete joke. |
