Unlucky lads in your play off final defeat last night. I've been in the position your in now, so i know what its like.
Yous have a very good side, some very good players, and more to the point yous have kept the same side (with a few additions) for a number of seasons now.
Yous are in a good position to take the positives out of this season, your most successful yet, and get back out next season and win the 3rd.
Shore have made a few key signings over the past season. Experience speaks volumes, and has seen them through.
I'd be surprised if yous aren't in automatic promotion next season.

Cheers Ally mate,
Yeah we were flying up until the end of April when our low squad and injurys kicked in. Shore & Seven Towers had the squad's and deserved to go up in the end. We had a chance last night but the occasion got to a few and as you say the experience that Shore have brought in stood them in great stead last night. We will regroup and and start thinking about next season straight away and hopefully we can make a good stab at winning the 3rd next season.
P.S. Well done to Shore for going up.

If you had took your chances last night it would have been a different story. Well done on reaching the final and see you next season

The suicide attempts after the game on Tuesday night proved unsuccessful so I guess we have to somehow get up for the new season - couple of months break should do the trick.
Shore out-smarted and out-classed us on the night. Our injuries to our first-choice central midfield partnership which ruled them out of the final certainly didn't help, but Shore also totally out-foxed us with the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation. I still don't know what system they were playing but it gave Willie Brown the license to spread the ball about and put boys through on goal at will.
Cheers for the positive comments Ally and Stan. St Comgalls will no doubt be right up there next season, but we should be in the mix along with Wakehurst, Lisnafillan, Cullybackey and Westend.
....no doubt some good new team will enter Division 3 also as Inter Stars did this year and Northend did last year

I wouldnt say we out-classed you, but we noticed in our previous meeting that you boys dont use much width, so thats why we put Philly up top with Floyd and Barry supporting from the wings and Browner playing just in front of the midfield. Thankfully it worked

With Monday night being called off we start the season tonight v Cloughmills Thistle @ Rasharkin I know Rasharkin isn't that big and could probably find it but does anyone know where the pitch is and is it likely to be playable? Surely it can't be any worse than Armoy.

1 win and 2 draws from opening 3 games. Could have been better but looking at other results there seems to have been loads of draws in 3rd. Think it is going to be a very close league this year. See Demense only got beat 3-2 in Larne last night by Inver! Either they have improved or inver were experimenting.

From the positions we've found ourselves in in the opening 3 games then you'd be happy enough with 5 points, but we realisticly need to start beating all the teams around us like st comgalls and lisnafillan to take this league by the scruff of the neck. Its all about how much we want it i reckon as teams are all fairly evenly matched!
