nah, i was working last night, mad busy it was too. final is at penarol again. cant belive they are playing these two finals there. awful pitch at the minute, bumps and bobbles all over it

finished 1-1. went to penos and sebi missed the final penalty were u down at it? where do we play glencloy at?? will be a battle! i seen most of first half. glencloy team pretty much the same from the team we played a few weeks ago. that fella stevie, playing centre midfield looked to have a good game, ciaran maguire wasn't playing though. inter stars all good footballers, some great passing especially from seb in centre mid, but they didn't look that fit. seen their goal, soft enough to be honest. sets up ASOB v Glencloy final next Friday. |

Last year i mentioned that the pitch for the final was crap and got blasted for disrespecting Penerol as they make their facilities available year after year, but my point had nothing to do with them and more so the pitch. I know the fact it has 1 entrance plays a big part but that is daft as there are far better pitches in the league than this.
We played at Ahoghill last night and the pitch was excellent and i also heard Ballykeel pitch is in excellent condition, surely with a bit of thought you could play the final's on the best available pitch and still find away to gather up the coin.

Shud be a good final on fri.Asob def favourites although our defense shud be stronger than in our last league meeting.
Fc inter stars played great football in first half but seemed to panic after our equaliser.Shud be in the first div soon tho.

that said i dont think people would be too happy with all saints playing glencloy on the hallowed turf of ballykeel!!! you would have no problems from the people of Ballykeel, the show case final should be played on a good pitch and venue and there is none better than the keel at the min. The new pitch is fenced off all round with good changing room facilities and compared to penerol's ground is of a different class. |

Doubt we would have any problem playing there either. Have never liked the Phoenix, would like to see these finals being moved around to different grounds. If it's about the £££ and only being one way in surely there must be more than that pitch to do so about
