Question to Jeff from Abbeyview.
When you's were doing your warm up before the game on Saturday, your coach or manager was doing alot of mouthing obviously for us to hear, saying we were s**te, tired old and you's are far better than us. All of these comments are fair enough as it was you probably trying to play mind games. But one comment i wasn't happy with, and one of the main reasons why we went out and gave you's an absolute tanking was "Our eyes are pointing the right way"
Would you care to elaborate on what you's were talking about with that comment, cos i know alot of our boys were taking exception to that remark, and im sure you know what type of exception we were taking from it.

You'l prob say Im doing the old Arsene Wenger here but I didnt hear that or any comment like it. You really need to point that question to the person who was supposed to have said it, it wasnt me nor did I hear it so cant really help you am afraid.
The main reason for our 'tanking' as you rightlly put it was the attitude of our players. As a top four side we didnt give you enough respect and a lot of our players believed that it was just a matter of turning up to win. That and the hangover from winning the league.

Like I said mate I never heard any comments like that and have to say it s not really Abbeyviews style. Would be very surprised if someone had said that.

im not sure who it was mower, i just know it was whoever was taking the warm up, possibly their manager, but dont quote me on it. needless to say it didnt sit too well with us, and i was delighted with our response.
on a funnier note, someone from their line shouted "these boys are crap, they haven't even touched the ball yet" the game had only been started for 30 seconds!!!
