watched yese last night v northend, good 2-1 win and congratulations on winning the league.
have to say JEFF was absolutely outstanding in nets, 3/4 unreal saves.
was that ur full side out??

  Was at the match last night myself and I think both teams were under strength. However would totally agree with Lenny that the jeff boy was outstanding......how North End did not equalise, I will never know. Anyhow again a big congratulations to all at Abbeyview |

Cheers lads!! We didnt play well for long periods of the game - most of the first half and after we took the lead. We had a few first teamers on the bench and a couple who didnt play as they have minor knocks what with the big cup game this sat it was good to be able to rest them!! The game was played the way it should be, Northend seemed a differnt side than the one that came to the forum. There was no slabering and no silly aggro they just seemed to want to get on with the game and so did we, thats the way it should be, tbh I felt they looked a better outfit they wanted to play football last night.
Jim has retired mate, he's manager now but I wouldnt be surprised if he pulls the boots on between now and the end of the season lol
Credit to the Northend boys as well in the way they conducted themselves during the trophey presentation. A lot of teams would have just went on in to the changing rooms, they all stayed on the pith to watch. cheers lads!

Congratulations to Jim and the boys - CHAMPIONS!!!!
As a founder member of this wee club it's def our greatest achievement to date and I'm as proud as punch!!
Up to the first division for the second time, and with the squad we have at present and the way we play the game we should easily establish ourselves in the top half and build from there.
Once again, well done lads... Good Luck tomorrow in the Carlsberg Cup Q/F, we run out of steam against Carniny in the semi-final last year, lets go one better this season and give us a good night out!

Congrats Keith matey, yeah now that I'm into the new house and being away with work has settled, I will be returning for pre-season, It is going to kill me, but I'm still sure if I get a good pre-season behind me there is at least a season left in the legs yet.
I know what the first division is all about and it's the place to be!
If the playing side fails, I'll still be there helping out.
Looking forward to it.

Jeff...the pics were taken on my phone which unfortunately has a crap camera. I will email them to you and you can see what they are like on your computer. send me a text with your email address and I can email them from my phone.

Fantastic season for us, a currently 19 match unbeaten league run has secured the title. On a personal note a league winners medal at last after all them years of trying (22years in BSML), beats them 5 1st Div runners-up in the league by a mile. Now i can hang the boots up at last and no pre-season ahead lol.
Think Jim Gallagher has been superb this year and ive been very impressed with his attitude and his ideas, training is tough but enjoyable and this bunch of players has been a real pleasure to play with and il be wishing them future success at our last match comming up. Big it up the WEE 'VIEW.
