Yeap sure is or FC Antrim dropping a couple of points should also do it. However it is always better winning the game you need to to win the league.
Well done guys. Hope you maintain that squad for next year and add a few more experienced players for the first division so as to stay there.

Finally the day came. You could tell at the start that there were nerves as we looked to clinch the league but once we settled and got the first goal we never looked back and simply overwhelmed a young Clough side. Credit to everyone at the club its been a long hard season and we have worked very hard to get to where we our. Every player and every person involved in the club deserve credit for this. The club is going in the right direction, we have a good manager a superb coach in G mitchell and bags of experience around the club in Scobie, Aggy, Jackie Burrows and Gazzy McCaig and some of the best young players in all three divisions, Its great to be a part of it! Thanks to Clough, we were treated very well when we went back to their club afterwards and their manager bought everyone involved a drink to congratulate us, a nice gesture from the lads and Id like to wish them well as they try to get into the playoffs!! Champions

Congratulations on your achievements. Would that be the same Jackie Burrows that pulled on the famous red and black shirt of Crusaders when i was a mere child in the stands at Seaview? thats the very one lolA true Crusaders legend and all round great servant to Irish League football. I even remember my first ever attendance at Seaview in 86/87 when Crusaders hosted Glenavon. Kevin McKeown's debut in goal. Jackie was playing, Kirk Hunter, Michael Cash, Frankie Caulfield who i often said was the Ray Houghton of the Irish League. Crues won that day by a solitary strike from big Kirk Hunter. I remember shouting at Geoff Ferris, the Glenavon striker, "you've some size of head Ferris" when he came to the touch line to take a throw. I was only 11 at the time. And here we are 22 years later and Jackie still playing football. Amazing. Is he still fit or does he take a lot of speed before a match?! ;D

You can pass on my best wishes and tell him it's from someone who idolised him when i was a nipper and who watched hime from the stands at Seaview week in week out. Is Sid Burrows still knocking about?

You know me mate, always centre of attention haha, joke...
Aye we were unlucky, played the better football. 4 stupid goals conceded. game was meant to kick off at half 6 they hadn't turned up so we'd till 6:45 before we could claim the game. Game never kicked off till 7, we paid for it at the end, should of had it claimed and all but committee wasn't there to make a final decision. Awk well these things happen!
