It will take something out of the ordinary for this game not to be on .We beat them well the last time but up to then they where are boogie team so we will not take anything for granted . To me this is where our season really starts we are in a great position and with alot of hard work dedication and commitment from are players!! you never know where we could end up , if none of these thing are upheard to we will end up with nothing!! The Legend certainly has done more than his share this season working hard behind the scenes getting players keeping them happy and his team talks would inspirer any team. It would be a great injustice if the players lets him down at this very important time.

Maybe 3 points on Sat might guarantee us a place in the play offs if we where lucky enough to win this game, but football is a funny old game!!

Match report
After three weeks without a match it was nice to know that our match would go ahead. The match started with the Reds really up for this game and with Ballykeel Steadfast and Galgorm not taken part in the league this weekend we had to make a impact on our league position. Three or four half chances went bagging in the first ten min and then on the 15 min mark David Waddell hit a great threw ball to Brian Surgenor who finished it of in great stile .Then we went to sleep for about ten min with some very rusty play .Then the 2nd goal came and then the 3rd threw John Kitson and Peter Hurrell before Brian Surgenor made it four. Half time 4-0 The second half started with another period of rusty play and our defense seemed to fancy playing up front. Cullybackey up to then had been very, very poor with Davy Reid having time to eat his breakfast during the match. Ross Steal was really the only dangerous player Cullybackey had but eventually they did score from in my eyes our defense was non existent. Scott Taylor came on to replace John Kitson. Matt Keenan replaced Micky Mc Kendry and Chris Perry replacing Barry Mott. Cullybackey did get a second but really the game was won at half time. Disappointed the Reds did not go on to give Cullybackey a good thrashing which they certainly deserved but after are long lay off I will put it down to that. To sum the game up delighted with the 3 points, disappointed with the performance but maybe I am a bit hard to please. I have set our team a target in our last ten league games of which today was one of them and if we achieve this, who knows??
The team today
1 Davy Reid 2 Andy Harte 3 Stephen Dripps 4 Willy McKitt 5 Peter Compton 6 Barry Mott 7 Micky McKendry 8 David Waddell 9 Brian Surgenor* 10 Peter Hurrell 11 John Kitson
Subs Scott Taylor Matt Keenan Chris Perry
Man of the match *

Poor preformance by the team today, thought we should have beat them by far more than we did.

didnt think we were that poor to be honest, think the opposition weren't up to much and we sort of fell to their level and when the subs came on we lost our shape and started glory hunting a bit.
think cullybackey are certs to go down if they perform like that each week, ross steele was their only danger, and pete compton had a brilliant game and mrked him outta it.
first game in awhlie i'd be happy to play like that every week and collect the 3 points. ;D

I think the average age of the team must be around 22 or 23 . 58goals was commenting how young the team was apart from W McKitt so we better watch out!!Got a PM from 1 of my next season targets about this
